The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Finally got a moment to see this baby in the sun after some days of rain. A quick rinse less wash and back in the garage it went until we get back from Pennsylvania.

When's the Hondata tune and Mugen cat-back and intake going on

Haha! No, not yet. KTuner has replaced HonData on most from this platform. Lots of benefits but in the end, Ktuner users are really extracting some good power from them. Surprisingly fast for what they are actually. I'm not going to flash-tune this one. 5yr 100k warranty and Honda reliability for me. It's a daily. If anything, I'll buy another JB4 and add 3.5-4.5lbs of boost. It's plug and play simple and super easy to remove with no trace. She's already traction limited down low though so we'll see. FWD FTL as the kids used to say.

I'll have a toy in the future. Just not settled on what I want so I chose to buy the plebeian daily vs a nicer one this time. I will say too, I'm loving the quiet. I'm getting old, so no intake or exhaust on this one. I do miss it on both my previous rides but mainly because when playing with paddles here, I can't tell from sound or even RPM Feel where it's at in the rev-range. It's that smooth. I have to pop the rpm's up in the HUD to watch them.

Read a story recently about California will stop registering vehicles if they don't have the stock factory tune. Will this lead to extra business for tuners swapping tunes for inspection purposes, then back afterwards.

Most tuners and piggy backs eliminate that worry. Yet ANOTHER reason not to live in Cali IMO.

You should really look into some smoked side markers.

Or get some body-color touch up vinyl and simply apply them. They match perfect in most cases. Beautiful vette regardless.

Any performance mod needs to be CARB (California Air Resource Board) approved in order to pass emissions testing. A lot of guys around here go as far as paying someone an undisclosed amount to pass their car for emissions testing. Cars that are from 1975 and older are exempt from emissions testing.

Not directed at you but who died and left California in charge

That's a nice feature to have. Wish my HUD could display RPM or gear. I often realize I'm in 5th gear instead of 6th.
It's pretty nice. Even Waze from Android auto shows directions up there. Crazy how one can up to 4 locations for a GPS in a car.

I definitely am and smoking the rear taillights too!

If switching out entire taillights switch to OEM Z06 ones. Aftermarkets play havoc with the electrical.

I’ve seen black out acrylic covers that look good too. Anyways beautiful ride. No changes are needed but the small details make big changes

The 30 year rollout exemption was repealed a while ago when Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor under legislative bill AB 2683.

So someone who wanted to get a 90’s JDM skyline would have to have it pass CARB standards?

I've been hoping for a software update that would do that. Only factory nav will do that for me.

Isn't Sky Net located in the land of fruits and nuts, I'm just sayin'

I've seen some with it and I am not a fan of the large white stripe. Lol

Not trying to come off like an Ahole about your dream car, just asking because I'm a sucker for white stripes on the center section of the hood of a Corvette as my dream car has one itself
