The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

A little early for winter, isn't it Chris, LOL! Surely you'll add on towards the end of Sept/beginning of November?

LOL

Not early for me as I head back up north Thursday. Other than a bottle of Meg's M135 and Poorboys Bird Sh#t Remover, I won't see any of my supplies again until Thanksgiving.

It's got Wolfs Hard Body on the doors and quarter panels, and then the rest has Opti-Coat. :xyxthumbs:

Tire to fender gap went from 3.25" to 1.25" - now the 20" wheels and 45 profile tires look right on the car. Watch out speed bumps, here I come!

Here is how mine sat today, with Junkman giving me a lesson in paint conditioning.

Looks like it lives a similar life to my car...

Tomorrow however is supposed to be 70 and sunny so I think she needs to stretch her legs.

I'm always leery of car covers scratching the paint. Is this an issue for you guys?

I've had a lot of different cars and different covers over the years and this coverking satin stretch is by far the softest cover I've ever come across. It's made of satin and lycra with a crazy soft fleece lining, it's only for indoor use and keeping dust off. I'm neurotic with my car to be honest, it only goes out on nice days, comes home gets waterless washed and covered so the cover only goes on a perfectly clean car thus making it as safe as possible. My car would have a ton of dust on it if it just sat overnight without the cover due to the unfinished floors (really need to finish them) so a cover is a must if I want to maintain my sanity haha.

Plus it's a white VW with typical rock hard VW clear coat so I have that working in my favor too. Even the crazy sensitive gloss black plastic parts like the b-pillars and mirror caps which scratch if you look at them too long haven't shown any sign of swirls or scratches from the cover. Of all the covers I've had it's definitely the safest feeling one since it's pretty much microfiber like soft being fleece lined.

Car covers are like detailing equipment, you definitely get what you pay for. I've never had an issue and I always make sure to put on, take off, and store clean
