Thanks, the snow here is pretty much a daily occurrence. I bet you would think the truck drives even more awesome if you get some new tires. ;)

The stock SR-A's weren't cutting it for me in the rain, so I knew they had to go before winter.

For tires that came on the vehicle, they are pretty good for now.
Trust me, I know tires :xyxthumbs:

Monica, what do you know about Continental DWS'?

They have great reviews from fiends with them... Good all-seasons. They do pretty well in the rain and last a long time.
If you're looking for a great winter tire you can't beat Blizzaks.

I have Pirelli P-Zeros on the Mini right now. They are all-season run flats which in my book is the absolute worst thing you can have on your car. Talk about unsprung weight, a harsh ride, short life and over-priced. The only reason they are on my car right now is that they came brand new on it. So for now they are my winter tires since my summer ones are useless when it gets below 50 degrees.

I have had DWS' on my last 2 cars, currently I'm at 34k on mine but 2 of my buddy's have MS3's and only manage 20-25k on theirs, not abusive either. My wife has em' on her car, 07' Mazda 6 and they've got 48k and have 6/32nds, awesome! They perf well for me on the Dragon, stunning in the rain and get me through the snow w/o a problem. Never had Blizzaks, seems everyone has em' but I've had Yokes for snows and were VERY impressed, last set, on the R56, we Yoke "Ice Bears" and they never let me down, LSD and stick helps out a lot too!

Cool :xyxthumbs:
Good to know. Though the MINI never sees snow, I'll prob get the DWS as replacements for the Pirellis when the time comes.

Also in the snow crowd as well. It's so tempting to put my lift on now, but I'd rather wait til spring once all the salt is gone. Just can't see putting new parts on in the middle of winter

What a gorgeous place, is that your actual show car garage?

Wonderful place to be.

Kind Regards.

The pic of my car is from this morning, it stayed clean yesterday too, little salt dust but nothinng too bad. I will say the DPPC is really making cleanup a breeze too, couldn't be happier!

The picture from my dashboard is from when I got off of work last night @9:30 p.m. Doppler Honda can't measure in windchill factor, that was ACTUAL! It took the car about 3-4 seconds to start. It yet another reason why I run 0w20 Mobil 1 in the car.
