The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

So I had this idiot park next to me today, I'm in the end spot, and I park to one side, and he drives up and parks on the line, just being lazy. As soon as he opened the back door I started taking photos, he didn't appreciate it. I just said if you touch my car this is for the insurance company. He was very careful after this, but he did keep giving me dirty looks. He didn't hit me, but it was bloody close.

Edit to clarify, he was never going to hit me, but he was very close to hitting the FJ, 🤣

That's it! I'm moving to Mars. I figure if I get there early I can be the one that stripes all the parking spaces, and I'm going to make them extra wide.

...while in line at DD

Wish I could dislike on tapatalk (not you the car). I don’t mind a 600hp electric sports car but not at the price of canceling all the gad versions

Did this creature also litter? And if you weren't there they would 100% hit your car.

Some of our shopping centres have started marking the carparks like this, and people park better with these spots, but lazy idiots are always going to be lazy idiots.

Guaranteed, even with such clear visual aid, 90% of the general public will still struggle to park properly. People are just lazy, I do wonder if this sort of driving etiquette would be tolerated in say, Germany?

You can't fix stupid.

It looks like a Lexus SUV so I'm assuming front/rear parking cameras
And they still come in hot and close perfect example of a me me world.

Upon leaving i would of put the rubbish under the wiper blade.

Newish Kluger, parking scrapes, probably pays to have it washed once a year, wether it needs it or not.

And they were used tissues, so nope.

Have bad ice and snow on the way so I thought this storm is worry of protection
First time putting both vehicles under the new car pavilion I finished in September 2023

What kind of finish do you have on that exterior wood?
2 coats of Cabots Australian timber oil..."Mahogany Flame"..the trim is red cedar rough sawn on the new pavilion wood.
Main lake house is 4-5 coats over the years of the same timber oil only in "Natural" tone....goes on the yellow side as it ages

So how often do you think you'll need to recoat that? Will you be able to reapply without stripping the old?

On the new cedar trim I hope never...lol
I do the main house every 3-4 years with a spayer .....a super light coat...goes on really fast.
Going on 10 years with the remodel ...so far no issues with peeling or cracking

Outstanding...I wish I could have gotten it to work out like that on my deck. I'm going to have to ask you about that metal roof, but maybe PM for that, I don't think the other members are going to appreciate us turning this into a house and home thread.
