Last week I finally got my "Big Boy Car". A base 2014 GT500 with 8,300 miles on it. Confirmed to having never seen rain once. It is so clean it's stressful to be honest. Got a couple quote for PPF already. It's got everything I wanted really minus the Track Pack but since I have zero plans to ever track it I will never notice. SVT vented rotors that appear on the window sticker are the only performance add-ons the previous owner opted for. It's a lot of car....can't wait for weather to clear up and enjoy it again. I've only gotten to about 5psi of boost so far and it made the Stage 3 GLI feel like a golf cart with a dying battery lol. God bless my wife for being so supportive and understanding how good of an oppotunity this was with how clean and well maintained it is. She knows I've be training to own a proper garage queen my entire adult life. Now I have one. I feel so lucky and privileged to be this amazing cars steward going forward. I prefer the base wheels to those that come with the Track Pack, most cars got the Track Pack so this one is rarer for that. Same power, transmission, and rearend, so not missing much. Additional oil coolers(engine, trans, diff) and larger sway bars are the main componants you get with the track pack. Oh, and wheels that would take longer to clean haha. Picked it up in Auburn, IN. Drove it the 200 miles back to Cleveland. After seeing how clean it was I seriously considered holding off to organize an enclosed hauler, but I got brave and wanted to drive it badly. Feels good rowing gears again...it truly is like riding a bike lol.
Went with Hagerty for insurance. Car sold for $59,999 new, I paid $58k, about middle-of-road for what these go for in this condition.

Thanks! I was very relieved haha. It came with a factory car cover as well(Coverking brand). I washed it the next morning to remove the bugs I picked up. It washed easily and acted like a coated car. Seller is sending me paperwork including it's last detailing invoice. Two-step paint correction with a Gtechniq coating. They did a nice job. I hope it saves me on my PPF when the installer realizes the only prep work that needs done will be a quick hand wash. I just hit it with Reset the last wash and it came out immaculate.Congratulations, that's awesome. It looks fantastic. How relieved were you after getting it back to your garage?

Hope everyone is doing well here. I rarely log on these days and have been meaning to share the big news since getting it, just haven't had the time.

13-14 S197 is peak Mustang imo. I was considering Leguna Seca Boss 302s they go for about 10k less but I figured i'd have buyers remorse "settling" for that.Ohhhh that's one of my favorite body styles. Enjoy it!!
I've currently got my eye on a '20 350R with 6k miles on it. They're asking 67k for it..
The Terminators are very cool too, especially with all the work by John C and the entire team did to get it out.13-14 S197 is peak Mustang imo. I was considering Leguna Seca Boss 302s they go for about 10k less but I figured i'd have buyers remorse "settling" for that.
Those 350Rs fetch a premium for sure, happy hunting![]()
Yea those are cool, but when you find an unmodified one with low miles it costs like $20-30k more than what I just got lol. That body style aged very well, and the 4.6L sounds good with most exhaust setups, including stock. A coworker has one, but his is beat and drove hard. The Terminators are very cool too, especially with all the work by John C and the entire team did to get it out.
