The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Started backing into the garage so I can open the door and see my favorite part first.

I like the Ass End shot. 🍑

While I do like the original alloys, these wheels and tires give it a better stance. The wheel offset has them sitting further out so the wider tires don't rub anywhere, and these tires grip so much better on the road as well. View attachment 138819
Dave, I actually like the new color, when did you do that

Yeah. It’s expensive though… not sure if I want to throw all my extra money away on that.

I'd rather buy a lightly used S550 GT500 at that price, which will hold value better, not to mention having factory-level engineering and the 7-speed DCT.

Or 2 Mustang GT’s. I think the plan we have settled on is her a S650 GT Fastback and me a S550 GT350 with sub 10k miles.

Personally, I think people go waaaaay overboard with power on modified Mustang's. Slapping on a giant supercharger and winding it up to 700 hp is pointless if the car can barely contain the standard 480 - 500 hp. And adding wider tyres will only do so much. Considering the cost to do a supercharged Mustang properly, you really don't see a return on the spend, at the end of the day, it's still a Mustang.

That's why I'd say if you want a supercharged Mustang, buy the one that Ford did themselves. Those 760 hp GT500's are extremely capable because they are a more holistic approach.

I'd say the same for a GT350, a very well rounded drivers car. However, I would worry about the lack of reliability from that engine. I'm told Ford very quietly (as in NDA's were signed) replaced A LOT of those 5.2 flat-plane engines under warranty because they were vibrating themselves to death, and the replacement engines weren't any better. A ticking time bomb in my opinion.
