Oh I thought about it, but I don't want to be that guy who goes nuts and sprays or wraps weird bits of his ride all the same colour. I was thinking of going silver with the dark tint, the original gun metal I did matched the vinyl wrap I used to have on the bonnet, but that's now matte black plastidip, which will probably be coming off soon.

My old boss was a Landrover tragic, he went to test drive one of those, they couldn't get it to start, this was 3 years ago, he was trying to get the local dealership franchise, which didn't happen. I've only ever seen one in the "wild", I do like the look.

We see a lot of Euro overland rigs up here from Rovers to Unimogs

People doing extreme trips and whatnot

I have talked to several drivers over the years who were either starting or finishing the Arctic to Tierra Del Fuego run

Unimogs are the best here in Australia you can pick them up ex army and get them fitted out for camping.

Improved headlights air conditioning etc etc

My dad loves them as he got to drive them when in the German Army.

Interesting story behind it, a billionaire brit wanted to buy the tooling for the old Defender when Landrover stopped making them, they said no, so he decided to make his own.
