I have to have it redone. I have to do it right since CA law is no tint on the front windows.

That sucks because just having the rear doors and rear window done is incomplete looking. Are they real struck, i.e. could you get away with 50% all the way around?

I've had tint a couple times and have been pulled over twice for it. The darker interior makes the tint look darker. I will get it done again. I'm thinking like 30% in the front maybe 20% in the rear. Somewhere in that area. Nothing darker than that.

Windshield: Must allow >70 percent of light in.
Front Side Windows: Must allow >50 percent of light in.
Back Side Windows: Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.


•No Red or Yellow tints

•No tint can be more reflective than a
standard window's reflectiveness.


•Medical Exemption:
State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.
