The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Is there an attachment size limit? Pardon me for not reading the FAQ list if there is one. Trying to upload pics from my computer to here. I guess I can post them to my pic hosting website.

Wife's G8. DG rinseless wash topped with DG rinseless mixed as a QD. Glossy and wet. My camera can't do it any justice. It looks GOOD in person. Not trying to brag, but it does. LSP is BFWD applied a few months back. The pollen and rain have really hammered it. Was going to do another coat of the BFWD,but it was getting dark and trying to rain on me.

Love those wheels, what are they?

5th Gen (2010-2015) 20' Camaro wheels. They're a direct fit,and a very popular upgrade among G8 owners. I thought the low profile tires would beat my middle age self to death, but the car rides great.

Thanks Allen and I'm kinda embarrassed because I consider myself a wheel guy and didn't even recognize them as Camaro wheels, but then again, I'm NO Camaro fan. I would absolutely have those wheels on a G8, but for me I would have them powder coated anthrasite and have a custom arrowhead logo on the centercap to give it that factory look. With the use of factory wheels on another car I coined the term "factory aftermarket" years and years ago and it applies here, so very well done!!

Thanks for the compliments! You can get the Camaro wheels in Chrome and Midnight Silver besides the polished versions we have. Lots of G8 guys have them coated, dipped, painted etc.. with any number of finishes. Our car came with the wheels already on it,but I would've done the upgrade eventually.

There is a later version of that wheel that looks good also.

Oh,and we have Pontiac wheel centercaps from the G6. It does make for a nice little detail.

These cars have not so good paint on them. It chips and nicks so easily. Worst of all, Liquid Red is particularly susceptible to having peeling clearcoat. The clearcoat on the spoiler of my wife's car is peeling REALLY bad. Very embarassing. Gotta do something about it.

Two more weeks and then she'll finally get her post-winter detail along with some tree pin striping removal.
