The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

In other news, I need to find a place to host photos.

Any suggestions?

Ahhhh white but for whatever reason white & chrome work. Now you said Stinger rims fit and since alot of people swap the stockers out I'd assume their pretty available If so would you get the base 18's or go up to the 19's. I know the 19's are staggered so you wouldn't be able to rotate them and w/o looking it up, I'd assume the 18" Stinger wheels aren't

Nice car, i like that the roof is black, really kinda breaks up the white and shows well with the window tint. Personally i agree with klasse, white and chrome work.

Im being a bit bias though as im a chrome wheel guy. You could drive a white or silver vehicle that is "dirty" but just do a quick wipe down of chrome wheels and....bam it looks clean lol. Works well for those times you dont have time to do a full wash

Not likely, I'm still.... not small, but it really started when I played soccer as a child. There were 3 Daves in my team, Big Dave, Little Dave, and, well, just Dave. I try to use it on every forum I can, but most already have a Big Dave.

Haha. I had that same issue as a kid but I was Little David because I was youngest. I’m now the biggest of the 3 though I’m not a big guy, 6’ 220 lbs (99 kilo Big Dave). :)

A nice set of bronze rims is a no brainer IMO

Acura TL stock rims painted the Dodge Brass Monkey color. I have before and after pictures but not sure a burgundy car would help when talking about a white car. And the tires were just coated with Tuf Shine coating and luckily the gloss knocked down within a couple days.

Am I to assume that is not a good color representation of brass monkey?

Those look awesome on your car due to the contrast, white needs the same contrast. It's easy to go with a matte/satin charcoal finish but there's something about bronze on white, siding towards darker I've seen that gold on white WRX/STI's and it looks nice too!

I'm not sure I'm seeing what you are seeing, the rim in the photo is nickel....not bronze...another reason I hate smartphones...oh well carry on.....

I never said his wheels (the TL) we bronze, I'm talking about contrast. He did that unique light gold on dark cranberry and I said darker matte bronze on white would look great, adding gold on Subie's look great

Don't ask me why, I don't even like chrome, but I feel as if this works...at least on this car. I don't know the first thing about wheels and the specificity of everything you need to know when you deviate from the stock setup, so I'd like to keep things as close to stock as possible.

How would you rotate staggered wheels? Only one way, right?

Thank you!

100% on the cleaning of the wheels. I always keep a MF towel in the trunk to wipe them down.

3 things I was very surprised about on this particular car:

1. I don't think I realized the wheels were chrome when I first saw it. I remember texting my friend and saying, "Hey! I have chrome rims!!" It seemed like such a high school thing. The plastic chrome teddy bear hub caps from Pep Boys came to mind.

2. The roof is glass. The WHOLE roof. Since it's tinted, this ends up being appealing, particularly if the rest of the glass is. To me, anyway. Some people dislike the chrome trim around the windows and such. I seem to see a lot about Tesla 3 owners doing chrome deletes. I prefer the chrome.

3. The transmission is unusually smooth. My old car was a 5-speed manual, so maybe that's why, but this thing is silk.

The red "ones" posing on my new floor.......:D
