That beetle is very nice. I never see them in black around here. Always Orange, yellow or red it seems. Which is fine, but I like that one!
 
Not excited about the blankets my FIL put on the trunk, but the paint is nowhere near perfect, so I won't complain about it.

Better watch out....old habbits are hard to kick. So if it happens again after its buffed out ya might have to break a few fingers lol

What happened to odrapnew is a big pet peeve of mine. I dont do it but i can put whatever i want on my vehicles cuz they are MINE.if it aint yours then dont touch...plus it aint a tree, so dont lean on it. I will lean on mine or a friends truck bed rails but only if it has plastic caps..must stay off the paint lol.

One of my gardening clients hoisted her handbag onto the hood of my Ranger the other day, I was screaming bloody murder on the inside but she was getting her purse out to pay me so I thought I had better not bite the hand that feeds me. :laughing:

I also had a neighbor that would often drop over for a chat, and more than a few glasses of red wine. One night after a bottle of red, he decided to put his hands all over the hood of my car as some sort of joke. He thought it was amusing, I DID NOT! :nomore:

I like all those cars, but I would pick that red Cobra as my fav. The supercharged Cobras Ford had were like early GT500 monsters. Companies like SLP had pulleys and exhausts and such that pumped the HP up to more than impressive numbers. Just beasts.
 
We flew to Hilo today and I went to Hertz to pick up the rental car

I had reserved a “managers choice” because it was about $150 cheaper than the smallest compact

I was expecting a 1974 Yugo or something

I see it has the "Hertz colored" guards on it, even they can't figure out how and more importantly WHY they should be removed
