Guilty as charged, the rubber is filthy. There is a reason I haven't cleaned it though. I'm going off-roading again this week, I promised my great nephew I'd take him off-roading for his 7th birthday, and I'm scouting for a fun trail. I have been maintaining the paint with Ech2o as a QD though, my new favourite product, I even cleaned my shower screen with it today, just because.

I'm glad your liking Ech2o Dave! There is nothing wrong with Ech2o, ofcoarse but the issue is there's sooo many great products out there in the RW/WW category. The thing with Ech2o is the gloss, it's undeniable and the only other product I've used that comes close was Wolfgang Uber, the original base product I used to make my "FrankenDetailer".

This product deserves much more attention and I'm glad it's being talked about here ️

I’m leaning towards the daytime pic. That building gives off that mirror shine like it knew how to match.

On the nighttime pic, I like how the lights reflecting on the roof almost look like beads.
 
And this is how it looked when I got home. I found the most challenging track I've ever driven, twice. The southern entrance to the park was closed, I found this when I drove up to the road closed sign. So I drove 40km around the park to one of the northern gates. It was rough but not challenging, they actually had about 12 Subaru Crosstreks in the park for a press launch of the latest model, so if they got in, no worries. On the way out, I decided to take the other northern road. I had to use low range in places, and engage the diff lock, not that I got stuck, but I wanted to avoid that obviously. I also bashed my bash plate a few times. Then I had to turn around, after about 20kms the road/track was closed as well, back to the only open road. I feel like I've been bashed as well.

Only performance mods I have if you want to call them that is a pedal tuner and a drop in K&N air filter. The pedal tuner was a necessity for me personally because the throttle response from the factory leaves a lot to be desired.

I live in California and any performance modifcation must be CARB (California Air Resource Board) compliant. Vehicles that were built from 1975 or before are exempt. Owning a modified car in California can be a challenge due to all the rules and regulations that come along with it. A lot of people with modded cars pay "under the table" to have their car pass emissions or they have the car registered in a different state.
