The "reveal" Maxima Mom & Dad

from a fellow poodle owner why didnt you let him/her do the finish work. smart little critters that they are. well done.

Did you end up getting a Bimmer for her? I am always looking for fellow Bimmers on the forum.

Thinking about adding a second one to our family of vehicles. Will keep it under wrap until it's official.

No, no Bimmer...she fell in love with a Mazda 3 Hatchback...!!!

I think you did a great job on your first detail, congratulations! :props:

Trying to understand and make sense of all the products, when to use what and then the next step can be a bit overwhelming. You asked lots of great questions and were patient enough to sift through the answers then you took that first step!

As you progress, your experience will build your knowledge base and you'll find yourself doing more and more improving upon what you just did.

The photo's came out great and I can't wait to see more of your work. :props:

I'm a very lucky guy!
Thanks to Maxima Mom! She is the guru...never one to shy away from a new task or challenge, she's the best!:applause:

I envy you Maxima Dad. What are your names by the way? You wouldn't see my wife caught dead holding a polisher in one hand and a bottle of compound on the other. She gets irritated i spend so much time on the car, she just doesn't understand the rewards of a detail and of having a looker-car. :)

And now she wants to move to the open parking from the covered parking building we rent, cause it's cheaper!

Tell the Mrs. to read our posts! Do not move to the open parking area...cheaper rent but more expensive when there is wear and tear on the vehicle! Us girls like to keep our hair looking nice... can't do that when it is pouring rain and she is trying to get into the car. Detailing is a hobby...if that is what keeps you sane than I approve! IMO as a healthcare provider...things that make you happy make your spouse happy too! Thanks for the nice words! Evan and Lisa

Convincing her to read the forums i visit is another thing. lol.

Yeah, her idea of the open parking is not gonna happen. That was my point exactly, cheaper parking but accelerated wear and tear.

Again, well done on the Maxima, Lisa and Evan!!! Is the Mazda 3 next? :)

great job!!!!! thanks for the pics.. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

No the Mazda gets a break...next on the list is my ride, my 2001 Benz ML55 AMG...I bought it used in '08 and the previous owner neglected it big time...if only I had known about AG back then!...the interior was trashed and I don't think the body was ever waxed...it is swirled like a Kansas tornado, plus lots of chips in the hood....leather in bad shape...a real AG product proving ground!

I have really enjoyed the transformation of the "Maxima Mom and Dad" from 1st time posters to a couple who found time to tackle detailing a car.

I too have enjoyed watching their progress from since they joined to where they're at today...

What's really cool is they're doing professional grade work and all it takes is,

  • The right products
  • Good technique
All of which can be found here on AutogeekOnline.net

Compare their results to the so called professional grade work done at some local dealership around here...
