The Trucks of Detail Fest 2010

We're going to have a few very cool trucks here from different manufactures in the car detailing world so here's a thread to showcase them as they arrive for this years Detail Fest.

First up is the Meguiar's big rig, which pulled in today around 3:00pm Eastern time.

Note that Rich Evans from Huntington Beach Bodyworks will be our guest of honor this year and Rich and his team are the creative talent behind the amazing paintwork on this truck. Myself along with a crew from Meguiar's were in charge of sanding and buffing the paint on both the Meguiar's big rigs and there was plenty of real estate to go around... everyone involved was able to sand and buff to their hearts desire.

Check out the superb attention to detail in how the 3D hand painted graphics flow into the expansion grate used for the side air-ventilation door.

This is a close up of the logo on the door, in person the 3D effects give the art work unreal depth and dimension.

Rich Evans is famous for his "Blade Style" of flames and graphics, this is his logo which is in the lower right hand corner of the back of the truck on both sides.

This year Detail Fest will be all indoors so the Big Rigs will be setting up in front of the various buildings. We're hoping for sunny, warm weather but if it's raining it'll be alright.

Uhhh... I think there's one very cool truck that hangs around PBMA that is conspicuously absent from your impressive photo spread, Mike.

I cant to see the new classroom and studio. I havent been up there in a while. My trucks being worked on right now I hope I can get it 100% before next week. My buddy will be going up wit hthe black on black G35 on my site

I remember one lucky MOL member last year posted some pictures of that big rig at his house in PA. He was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do some polishing work on that truck as well. Now that would have been cool. :dblthumb2:

Big Jimmy and the Meguiar's MTC

Meguiar's is one of our Manufactures represented at this year's Detail Fest here in Stuart, Florida which takes place next weekend here at Autogeek

Until the event starts the Meguiar's MTC is parked out front of our brand new Training Facility and I took a moment to park Big Jimmy next to it and take a picture.

We should have more Manufacture's Trucks and Specialty vehicles arriving next week and as they arrive we'll update this thread!
