I decided to use mine to polish some scratches out of my hood scoop and then washed it in the sink, and had the great idea of spinning it dry with the PC, and it ripped apart. :/ <<<Newb

Yeah that old inertia and centrifugal force thing will get you...

I love these pads for polishing diamond plate and metals. I have acquired a bunch of them and will miss them for metal polishing after they are all gone.

That's a good tip. The diamond plate will tend to chew up the foam but because the foam on the PC pad is thick it will give you plenty of buffing time.
