Theft Recovery Interior Detail OMG!!

Dang nice turn around Kevin! Did you have to get an eviction notice to move all that stuff out??

Great job. If they were going to trash it that bad, why didn't they just burn it?

No but there was a few garbage bags that the owner was going to have to go thru to see if any of it was his.

I was gonna say the same thing! Lol.
This is the kin of stuff I deal with on a daily basis!

I am glad to see that others get this stuff too. :)

Not sure? They ripped off the rear view mirror and the wiring to the onstar but apparently this does not immobilized the GPS system. This is how they were caught. Guess they thought they were free and clear.

How well does that drgreaser work running it through the steamer? Ive always heard not to run anything through a steamer but have always been curious about chemicals lime the one you mentioned.

It works great, kind of super charges it with the steam. The Dupray Carmen Super Inox unit that I have is able to inject chemical with the steam or just use steam. I have used the biovap degreaser and 303 fabric cleaner. Dupray recommends only chemicals that are non foaming to be used. I would not recommend using chemicals in regular steamer, check with the manufacturer to see if it is compatible.

Wow. You did an amazing job turning that around. If it weren't for the mechanical problems you mentioned they might second guess selling it.

I know I would be proud of that truck after you got done with it.

Nice job Kevin. I can't believe they trashed it that bad in only a matter of a few weeks. Nice turn around! :props:

Hi, Kevin! I have the 220 volt Inox. It does really well, I feel. You may become my go-to guy if I have some questions!

For the headliner, you can try Folex and a shop vac. I love my steamer for these.

For the leather you can use a diluted APC, a dedicated leather cleaner, and a soft bristle brush to work it in and a microfiber to take off. A very soft carpet cleaning brush on a DA will work as well to work the product of choice into the leather.

For the dash and doors, good APC and a brush. Followed by a UV protectant.

For the carpets, Folex and a shop vac, or a carpet brush on a DA (with chemical of choice) and a shop vac.

For the vents, APC and a Q tip. Won't get deep, sanitized vents without a steamer.

Yes you can clean without a steamer but a steamer just does it better and deeper without the need for chemical most times.

Oops forgot to mention extraction for the carpet as well.

Looks like its time for me to invest in a steamer. That looks great, interiors still aggravate me some but it looks like the steamer would make it a little less stressful.

Ive got one sitting in the shop now that looks identical but black. Im not doing the interior though.

Very nice turnaround.

You done a good job here, looks nice.

Thank you

I like my steamer because I am not always dealing with chemicals. One thing to remember is if you have a synthetic dye stain you may not want to hit it with steam right off the bat, it could "set" the stain. The Pros Choice chemicals I use need steam to make them react, so my steamer/ extractor works well with them.

Awesome job! I have high hopes for keeping my 13 Buick Lacrosse chocolate and tan interior clean with my newborn after seeing what you accomplished!
