There we go!!!! All CG

I heard lava was junk.

How ecosmart compared to there other QD?

I used the last of my EcoSmart today. I had enough to waterless wash left to do half the car. At that point, I switched to UWW+. UWW+ is just better, period.

How could you use CG? They are nothing but hype, get off the bandwagon already, how could you purchase anything from them!?!?!

There, i just mentioned all the comments you will get in this thread. hah..

i really like CG and continue to buy their products. I do have a bigger collection than you though :)

CG has some really good stuff and some stuff that is wayyy overhyped

I love my chemical guys collection as well, just used blacklight and Pete's 53 just need to apply a second coat

CG has some good products and some bad products. If they would retire 75% of their products, drop the redundant ones, and allow legitimate reviews on their website, then I would definitely buy alot more from them.

Unfortunately, they have too many smoking mirrors for me to buy the few products I like. :awman:

Love it. Fast, easy and beads really well. Look like a wax three times the price.

I've been using Pete's 53 a lot lately. I have to admit that I'm pleasantly surprised by it. Application is very easy and it's one of a few waxes that I notice a definite "shine" after applying. I love that it's WOWO too. I will be ordering a back up container of it soon.

As for Lava...it was a case of feeling I got ripped off after trying it out. The application is so difficult and sloppy due to the consistency of the product. It's also tough to control the amount that you are getting on the application pad. And I really couldn't say that it made any difference on the surface after application. I will never buy Lava again.

I love Chemical Guys. I think they make a solid line of products that do the job that it says it does. To be honest, there are some products of their line that I do not like/not had luck with (Glass Cleaners left streaks no matter what I did). But all in all, they do a good job for me. But, that is with every single line of products.

I own about 90% Chemical Guys products in my arsenal and wouldn't trade their products for any others on the market. People that complain about "overlapping" products, I'd rather that "problem" than not having a product to get the job done.

In conclusion, detailing products are all about personal preference/taste. If you use something that works for you and fits your budget, use it and use it often.
