Things that make you mad

Even with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, use a white pad?
 
Do you know how much bite it has? if so then hey use a cutting pad when needed, but remeber the product has bite to it, and will cut down the clear regardless of the pad, a cutting pad just amplifys this cutting ability, i still use a blue pad (edge) to do alot of swirl removing becasuse i know exaclty what is need and how much clear i am working with. Its jus what i like to do

i was new once, i know what its like. I am always happy to help out, and hey if i cant detail i might as well discuss it.
And remeber im just one person, i havent been doing this that long compared to alot of people. i have my opions and there are many other opions out there, take what i say in stride and keep and open mind to what others say and think.
 
calg, have you ever used a bug and tar sponge? are they worth getting in your opinion?
 
I havent used one, but i have thought of it. I know poorboys just came out with a mf cloth desgined for that, which looks cool. im thinking of getting one of those. Perhaps its somthing to look into.
Also i think they would work well if you had alot of bugs. i dont have a huge problem with them and clay and paint cleanser can take care of them so i have had no need for a sponge
 
Do bugs scratch paint? Silly question, but im taling about when you miss one, and you start to polish or wax
 
I would assume then can.if yo go over them with a pc, and they get on the pad then ya they can scratch, just like naything else. i know if i miss one i will catch it since i only use psate waxes (i did theliquid thing and keep comming back) so i go to apply the wax with a foam applicator and i see the bug so i get it off with a qd and some poorboys bug squash.

but ya im sure a bug could do some nice damage if it is missed and polished over
 
You hand wax and polish?
 
I hand wax, but if im going to polsih i clay so i notice the bugs and get them off first

I dont hand polish no, i use a pc to do my polishing. I dont have any pics of my car on this comp sorry, they are on my desktop and thats a few hunfred km away right now sorry. when iget home i will mkae to post some just for you

i sure am, lol the mods are gonna have fun cleaning this one up.. if they are going to.... i look forward to the pic. i really ant to see your work, so what package did you gey? and what kind of lexus is it.. my mom has a lexus and i love the paint on it, its one of the nicest paints to work with
 
i have no idea. My mom got the job for me. My step dad has a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE truck, it takes a ladder to SEE the roof. I had fun with that! I wash it all the time, tire shining it is a B though. Once i get that fenderwell brush, it will be awesome looking. he also has a 2006 lexus, LS i think, i know it is the most luxerious. i jumped on that like two months ago, before i had the PC. Interior detailed it, and hand waxed.
