Think you don't need Iron-X,think again

3 weeks ago I purchased the finishkare decon kit.when you first walk in autogeek they have a 5 dollar table and 10 dollar table. They crowd these tables with all sorts of stuff.I bought the finishkare second for 10.00 and is weak no comparison to ironx.I ended up chucking it in the trash.

You realize that's an acid decon and will not color-change like hair perm. How did you determine that it's "weak"?

I just tried it on a trunk of a white car and I let it dwell on there for a extended period of time with zero results.its a milky white substance correct?

If it's milky white that sounds like the Step 1, which is a TSP-based degreaser. Step 2 is a transparent, yellowish liquid (acid). How did you determine there were "zero results"? Were there visible rust spots on the surface that were not removed? Step 2 will dissolve the iron in a different way than the thioglycolate products and will not "bleed".

Ok then I bought step one it said on the bottle soil and decontamination remover.it was white viscosity and didn't remove any decon at all. There was no sister product along with that probably why it didn't work.

Will perm solution work I can get that super cheap in a trade cosmetology store.or is there other components along with that.

Step 1 is to get dirt and adhesive residue off (caustic cleaner), Step 2 is to dissolve any mineral or iron contamination (acid), and Step 2 is a neutral wash (pH-neutral shampoo, #118SC) to neutralize everything and clean off anything remaining.

Have the receipt part number #1119 soil and coating remover.Didnt use product #883 sirr.Thought is was one bottle and one system my mistake.

Perm solution is sold in very small bottles so that won't work.I will stick with snow foam.

I'm sure it would work, but I'm sure that wheel cleaners etc. have some other ingredients to make them work better or do combined cleaning, that hair perm wouldn't. The iron-eaters/wheel cleaners all use some salt of thiglycolic acid, that's why some of them smell better or work better or cost more/less is because it's a different salt (sodium, ammonium, etc.).

I've heard the opposite of Snow Foam; that it's weaker than Iron-X.

With more cars to really determine whether its weaker will come in time. With the holidays business has been a little slow.Ive used it on 2 vehicles so far and it works just as well as straight ironx.
