ive never used dodo before and was thinking about trying some but .with so many to choice from not sure what to try.. whats the best forme ..here is what i have..

my truck is dark mettalic stone.. very dark.. what wouldbe the best dodo wax? i dont like hard as rock waxes so i quess soft would be the one to try ..also which pre cleaner? theres 2 i see not sure which one to try . trucks paint is in excellent shape with very few micro marks ... any help would be great thanks guys...

hows that purple one?
Purple Haze is very good IMO. Get AG to match the Detailed Image sale price. But FWIW Fuzion is BOGO now and is supposed to be great on dark paint. I have Fuzion from last BOGO but havent tried it yet! Maybe this weekend.

I have SN, but haven't got a chance to try it. The wax is very buttery though (held it in my hand...falls right out of wood container). I will say though, I do love my Fuzion...A LOT.

If you never tried PB natty blue it looks great on dark colors also

I really like Dodo Juice waxes, but am a firm believer in their hard waxes. Get a pot of Supernatural, and it will last you 10 years if you wax your car a few times a year. Best of luck.

I only have two DoDo Juice products:
Need for Speed Wax which is like an AIO product and the Purple Haze Soft wax.
Both are good.
The Purple Haze is a great wax for dark colors. I really like it...

thanks guys.. by the way do they smell good?

I have blue velvet, hard candy, and have used purple haze. I think they are all great waxes! If you are not sure about what one to get, get the sample size. I know they sell them on there own or you can get multiple in a value pack.

I have a ton of dodo products. I love supernatural, but it is on the harder side(not as hard as RBOE though). I would try the purple haze pro. It is for darker colors and is supposed to have the durability of a sealant. Since your paint is metalic, you could even use light fantastic to pop those flacks.

As for pre-wax cleaners. I use lime prime w/abrasives on mine and a couple peoples cars. It works great and leaves a nice slick finish. Just don't use it on Toyota's or Honda's. It will mar the paint, and there is a warning about that on their(dodo juice's) website.

The washes are super concentrated. Dodo Hard Candy is hard to beat on all colors, infact PJ told me of one of his customers that only uses it on all colors in a professional setting. The Red Spray is nice too, but not quite the same formula as those across the pond get.

thank you scott!!!

But the "STRIGHT EIGHT" DoDo Sampler that way you can get a good feel for their whole line of Vanity Waxes. The scents are incredible and you will find more than a few very very solid performing waxes for each vehicle color. This is a great value also for what you get !

good idea.i was looking at that kit...nice kit actually....im looking for something that goes on and comes off just as easy as lets say souveran. do they offer this? in dodo?i hate waxes that you have to rub like crazy to remove..hopefully there a joy to work with ...

They do require more buffing, not as easy as Pinnacle and Wolfgang on removal IMO. They are quite durable too.

Killer I have not had any of the DODO products last more than four to five weeks at best. The rainforest rub left me very very flat and I thought the look of it was not worth the cost compared to Max Wax,SSII,Petes etc.The bannana, juiced edition and supernatural are the best of there line in my opinion.Just my 2 cents. If I was to buy one right now to try out go for the bannana.Im the MAN

thanks guys input is great !!!!.... :xyxthumbs:

man not as easy? that stinks.. thats what i love about pinnacle. makes waxing fun. and doesnt kill ur arms to remove:xyxthumbs:

Hey Tom, I hope all is well. I think that Dodo makes some pretty decent waxes but I am not crazy about the color-charged waxes as the color transfers onto the microfiber towel when buffing off...but at the same time, going color-charged can enhance the look of the paint.

Knowing what I know now, I would have gone with one of the non-color-charged Dodos as Blue Velvet and Purple Haze seem to be just sitting on my shelf collecting dust.

Again, Dodo makes nice waxes but once a year Autogeek has Fuzion on promo for $100 shipped for the 8oz tub, refill, and case and it's really hard to beat a deal like that considering just how good Fuzion is.
