Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

I wasn't trying to turn this thread into one of those. Poster asked for thoughts. My thought both are underwhelming autos for me. Most reviews seem to concur. The CRZ has been a dog in sales for Honda. Fiat reliability wasn't stellar before or now. I have a 2013 MB E350 Cabriolet (wife wanted it, hated to get rid of the Lexus Sc 430) and a 2016 Audi A6 S Line. After years of great reliability from the Japanese brands namely, Lexus (92 ES, 98 GS, 06 SC), Honda ( 07 CRV), Acura ( 86 Integra), Subaru (95 Outback), and Toyota ( 82 Corolla, 03RAV4), took a chance with BMW (02 325CIC & 12 X3)and now MB and the Audi.So far, they've been good to me. I purchase, not lease, so reliability means a lot to me. These days, I don't put much mileage on yearly. The Audi is fantastic. Since this a detailing forum, thinking about doing Nanohide Coating AH7 to the Audi. Testing their AH5 on the glass and side skirts first. Rest of the car and MB are Zaino'd with Optimum Spray Wax (purchased here) and Zaino Z6 or McKees 37 spray gloss (purchased here) on top.

The CRZ was a great car in the 2.5 years I owned it, zero issues. The Abarth had a MAP replaced under warranty, I think, LOL, that's it. Its been to the Dragon 3x's without any issues and the car is modded, so it's been a great car mechanically.

I've never owned a MB but I did have a Crossfire for 2 years, does that count🇩🇪

On Saturday the 3 of us are going to look at and buy the wheel I have chosen for my car, the 17 x 7 OZ 45th anniversary wheel in matte graphite. I say "buy the wheel" as in 1 wheel. I can't swing all 4 right now but the wheel will serve as inspiration all winter long, it will be placed in the living room as a piece of artwork I guess you could say. Come tax time I will order up the other 3 wheels along with a new set of shoes, probably the Michelin AS3's unless Continental comes out with something in my size by mid winter/early spring. I might even see what types of deals Discount Tire has on Black Friday and use their money for the new shoes.

Stay "tuned", pic of the wheel is coming this weekend 🇮🇹

Here's the new tire and wheel combo for my car come spring of 2017! The wheel is the OZ 45th anniversary wheel, 17 x 7 and the tire is the Michelin AS3 in oem size (205/40/17)

Better lighting and no flash. I have just applied the 3rd coat of PBL paint coating to the wheel face AND barrels. I'm really looking forward to the new look of my car this spring, almost ready to count the days till the weather breaks, even though we're only 10 days into Decemeber

Klasse, please take a few pics with those new wheels on your car and a quick review on performance of those tires in the Chicagoland snow

My buddy Hectour came up with a new stripe idea, pics coming up soon, the idea was right there in front of us 🇮🇹

This IS how the car is going to look come spring of 2017. My buddy did this on Forza and this time he placed space between the stripes instead of it being 3, equal thickness stripes which was the original idea, this looks much better.

I'm leaning towards having ABARTH placed back on there as well and the finish will still be matte vinyl, doesn't show swirls and the contrast looks great on the sea of metal flake.

I really can't wait till spring, hurry up Decemeber and be done...come on New Years Eve

Oh and BTW the mirrors are staying red, for some reason they come up white on the game.

Shouldn't the stripe be on the driver's side?
When you put the stripes over the passenger side of the car it goes over the body colored dashboard piece inside the car and it lines up perfectly with the outside stripe, a nice touch.

There was a big argument on another forum I am on about which side a single stripe should go. The traditionalists said it should go on the drivers side because that's the side it was put on race cars. It doesn't bother me either way.

I like the graphics and wheel combo. It definitely gives the car an Italian feel.

On any other car I agree but I actually copied the look from the RRM race car and it coincides with the painted passenger dash piece.

I will take a pic and post it later so you can see what I mean exactly.

Yes, I believe it's on the driver's side so it can be lined up to the line (driving) on the track.
