Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

That paint looks wet Roger :dblthumb2:

How you like the coating this time around.
Well only time will tell but right now I can't argue with the gloss! I'm pretty sure the fact that I applied it in 70 degree temps and it sat for 3 hrs in the warmth didn't hurt either. I do wish it were warmer down in the garage but it was in the upper 40's today and the car was parked all day so it's the best I could do.

I actually forgot to coat the wheels

Sounds like you did the best you could. Hopefully it pays off.

Whaaaaaaaat? You forgot the wheels?

I did clean them thoroughly with 3D BX and my special wheel brush...an old furniture duster someone put near a garbage can, no lie😝

See these are the kind of tips you get in this thread, not just updates on my build,LOL. Its basically a soft blue brissel brush that gets all the way inside the barrel, even between the caliper and barrel on the larger front brakes.

There's no doubt that paying ca is best Jay but the majority of us prefer to pay monthly for our cars, like a house for instance. Not sure if you checked out the earlier posts but I bought the car on 2-14-14

Yeah I didn't see that this post was so dated, lol. Yah I get it, most people do finance cars. I don't, my house is the only debt I have. I've worked very hard to keep it this way. That being said I've never owned a new car. I've been tempted many many times but I like not having payments more than driving a new car. I've had great success just being patient and finding the right used car for me. I would like to find an import for my "toy car" just to keep clean and show my potential new clients what I can do for them. My business is launching Jan 1st and I've just locked down the warehouse and have several clients lined up waiting. Excited and ready to start putting my business plan into action.

It's supposed to be 60 on Saturday and I need a wash to boot....sooooooo I'm going to be doing that first and foremost but I may apply a 2nd coat of PBL paint coating too and let it sit. I was so happy with how it turned out that if 1 coat was good 2 can be even better. I feel I applied a good amount but you guys know me😝

I was talking to Derek0609 today and told him about my plan for the upcoming year and it's this, only use rinseless and waterless washes to keep it clean, along with some touch-free washes but for my LSP usage...spray waxes, yep, that's! Right now I have DUB spray wax, Griot's spray wax, Aquawax and a product I just received but can't talk about yet until mid-January. I also have my FrankenDetailer as well, so I guess that makes 5. All my RW and WW's have wax infused into them so it's always getting protection laid down.

Stay "tuned" 🇮🇹

Very interesting Roger.....

I will be able to report/review this new product in mid January. I think all spray waxes this coming season is going to be interesting. I was talking to Derek yesterday and I am waxing every time I use one of the RW or WW because all the products I currently use have wax infused into them, but I'm certainly not going to count that as a coat, the spray waxes yes but not a regular RW or WW.

What's this all about 😯

Yeah it started out as a "finger in the air" thread and then after I bought the car I just kept it going as a build thread for the most part. I've answered questions and even got a fellow member to come to our Tail of the Dragon run because of it, that alone makes it a winner IMO!

I guess it's just "one of those threads" 😎
