Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

It really was Monica and if wasn't so cold yesterday I would've taken a pic of where I parked my car while I was there. They have this single, longish parking spot in the lot, all by itself. I'll get a pic of it next time, love that spot for sure and I could actually park 2 500's there...or a MINI, even the new F56 MAXI could fit 2 in a row there:props:

The Abarth sounded bad trying to start after work yesterday. It was 0 when I got to work and 3 when I left work. It was slow going at first so I just stopped and tried the 2nd time and it fired right up. There's a TSB for cold starts so I need to have that squared away.

I'm really glad I've got that garage spot because yesterday it was 37 when I left for work down there👍

No, no, nothing like that! The MINI ran bad when it started. The Abarth just turned over slowly, that's all.

So i was driving on the highway today in my moms Toyota Matrix, and right next to me a black Abbarth gets on the highway (around 7:40pm) and i think to myself "hmm i wonder if it's Roger"..after several minutes i noticed the car wasn't passing me by, which kind of told me "yep, might be Roger"...and then the car passes me, and gives me some exhaust note..i notice the license plate "cpt slw" and said to myself "yep! thats Roger".


I had my future mother in law in the Matrix so i could not "keep up".

The Matrix was dark gray, i was on the 2nd to right lane, only going about 65/68. I exited on Algonquin and you kept going south towards Schaumburg.

I'm pretty sure you hit the gas a bit while passing me by in the next lane, but as soon as you were about 5-7 feet in front i didn't hear anything anymore. It was almost as if you downshifted.
 
It figures one of peers sees my car and it's full of salt dust, LOL. I've been washing it once a week for the last 3 weeks and this Friday night I have a date with a bucket and a couple spray bottles😎🇮🇹😋

This Sunday, Valentine's Day, will be the 2 year anniversary of having bought the car and it supposed to cold and snow the first couple days of the week, so the car will NOT be clean, damn:eek: I mean I guess I could clean it up so its clean for its day but only be trashed when I pull outside. Its so bad right now that I have to revert to a 2BM wash for sure because I need to pre-soak the hell out of each panel and I'll just go through too many of my towels, so let the Aqua sponge take the abuse, which it handles quite well and has for years:props:

2 years ago today I bought the Abarth and haven't looked back! Like the MINI I acquired new back in the spring of 2007, I look forward to getting into this car everyday...still 🇮🇹 I have done lots of mods since I bought it and that keeps it fresh for sure and there's still some things I'd like to have done to the car but they will come down the road and/or when parts should and need to be replaced, I.e. brakes and suspension for instance.

So today I decided to clean up the car for the special day because it was trashed as you can see in the "before and afters" and ofcoarse its 19 and snowing pretty good today, LOL. I don't have to go anywhere and maybe it will be cleared for my drive to work tomorrow.
