I gotta be honest.... I don't like the idea of the green mirror caps. I will have to see it though. I'll keep an open mind
I actually blurted out green right away, then my buddy Hectour who's an artist, agreed and confirmed by the owner of the shop, Steve. Steve said green because it was the brighter of the colors. He's got plenty of leftover matte green so we'll see how it goes, if we're all wrong it peels right off and then he'll apply the clear, matte to the mirror covers to make them matte red. I think doing them white would be wrong wrong and wrong but then again noone brought it up.
The badges being done, although a small mod, will bring everything together. There's even talk about a new center cap design over the winter, brain storming is ongoing
Another mod is also going to appear soon...clear side parking lights but they aren't clear as in seeing the bulb inside but I guess you could say more white, like the side marker lights...snowballin' here, LOL
I feel like I have a brand new car here and BTW we swapped services for this job. I washed/clayed/Gloss coated (he provided) a Scion xB and his 4 door Z71 pick up truck. The custom badges were taken care of when I did his 78' Hilux 6 weeks ago, working off my mods. Now if I could just find an interior guy to do this with and get custom red leather seats or Italian colored houndstooth inserts for the seats...loud, YES but it plays into the personality of the car, NOT it's owner
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I appreciate it and I should say in closing that I wasn't sure when I saw the front of the car today, then I saw the rear and warmed and when the sides were done...GAME OVER! I learned today to let the process play out and wait to see the entire picture, life's lessons courtesy of the automotive world

Speaking of cars, I wish I had taken pics this time out but just didn't think about talking to John and walking around but we had a TT Coyote Mustang and TT C5 ZO6, just scratching the surface here!
