Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

Looking great KA! I really dig Wolfgang coating.
Thank you very much I really appreciate it but I have to admit a lot of it has to do with lighting and positioning of the car.

It seems you like hatchbacks, but you didn't mention anything about the Hot-hatch King?? Ever consider or drive a GTI before? Just Curious.

I have never considered a Volkswagen GTI because I'm sure I can't afford it and I also can't afford the maintenance cost on those cars. I do like the cars because I think they are very understated in the look and I'm sure they have a great drivetrain and transmission and of course I love the Plaid seats in there as well. The car is a king for a reason.

European oil change coming this Saturday, after Italian Day at Iron Gate! 4 quarts of 5w40 Motul synthetic and Mann oil filter. Kinda surprised the "change oil" light stays on and doesn't turn off but its a light on the dash that's ok, no harm, no foul

Crazy these engines are taking "thicker" oils...... yours 5w40, and the RS takes 5w50.

Yeah for sure but then again we've got Hi-Po turbo engines. Check this out though Monica. My buddy back home bought a 2000 M5 and his engine calls for 10w60, NA V8

10w60? Jeez, that's only a few steps below gear oil, Rog. Lol

Good to see the Abarth this morning.

This picture doesn't even come close to how much my car looks like an SUV next to the original!

Like wise Adam, hope to see you at more events so we can talk shop, cars or anything. Maybe you and your wife can come out to downtown Winnetka, last Sunday of the month for their C&C, worth the drive....TRUST ME! Smaller show but epic rides! My car isn't allowed in the show area per the rules of the Fuel Fed club but you'll see my Abarth, along with my buddy Hectour's 1979 Mazda RX-7 parked in a good spot in front of the bank across the street or somewhere on the side street.

Nice meeting you, I can already tell your a great guy! Please post that pic of the 3 of us, hopefully I don't scare anyone

Has some work done on my car this afternoon. First up as some of the chaser stripes were replaced as they had become frayed on the sides and lifted in other places...just the green ones, LOL. Next up was the drivers side mirror cap was re-wrapped due to shrinkage, hate when that happens, LOL. Finally the front and rear emblems had their overlays replaced, along with the rear quarter ones, they were printed out instead of the 2 tier process done before. Oh yeah I almost forgot, there's a panel between the windshield and sunroof and a spot of paint had popped off, think Fiat here, LOL. They did some light sanding there to even it out as much as possible and then wrapped it in gloss black vinyl and stripes re-applied over them, looks much better.
