Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?

I posted this because I've never seen an old Abarth model. We commented that the rear of the car looks like it could be the front of the car. The engine is in the rear and is 850 cc and with super short windshield would make it awesome on the Dragon as there's no A pillar to get in the way, the only thing that would get in the way would be the carb at higher elevations.

In my nearly decade and half yearly trip down there I've never been here, might need to check it out sometime soon, just because its there!

Yeah, you can tell I'm getting anxious about the trip, its 16 days away. We found this place as soon as we started staying at the Dragon Pitt Inn and its a place you must visit atleast once when your doing the Dragon Run! My buddy Hectours Dad is from Mexico and has given this place his blessing, now we just need to get them to carry avanero salsa so I can put it on my tacos!
 
Sooooo, I leave work today and I have a CEL, solid one, no flashing and the car only boosts 5 psi. Called the dealership and can't get me in till Friday, will drop it off Thursday after work...an hour away, ahhh, the joys of Fiat ownership. I mean I have a Fiat dealership closer to me but I like how this one, near my in-laws, took care of me in the past.

Funny thing is though my Ultra gauge isn't reading any codes at all, not sure what to make of that although my buddy Ryan says because it's FCA that could be why, LOL.

At least I'm under warranty still and it's before the Dragon run, stay "tuned"

Oh yeah for sure but in a little bit Kendall and I are going to Auto Zone to see if their scanner works on my car! I'll post back here if they turn something up, at least it rides and drives, just doesn't fly

Back from Autozone and getting gas...but first things first, the car had full boost on the way to getting the code scanned. The guy scanned it and went inside to get the read out and it came back as P0069, MAP.

I'm going to keep and eye on it this week and see how it goes, didn't ask for it to be cleared but maybe it will go away on its own like it has been known to do. I wonder if I should just disconnect the battery at work tomorrow....thoughts?

Try clearing the code by disconnecting the battery. See if that works. You have nothing to loose.

Nope, nothing to loose.
I also wonder if you just need to clean off the MAP sensor.

I'm going to buy some of that special electrical cleaner and do that

Going to and from work yesterday I had no CEL and car boosted just fine!

My buddy Josh has been taking me to this place for a couple years and its awesome! Its in the middle of nowhere really and that's the thing about this place, its where all the locals go...and now our Dragon group makes this our Saturday dinner spot, to kick back and enjoy a great meal and talk about the trip before we head home the next day. The steak was suggested to me once and that's all it took! I've only been to Ruth's Cris steakhouse as far as world class steakhouses are concerned and this places matches it for taste, no doubt about it and CRUSHES it on price!! You get a steak, 2 sides and a salad for under $40.00 and they serve Coke, no Pepsi, another plus! You try and go to Ruth's Cris and get the same steak and its going to cost you about $45.00 and for that you get an awesome steak and 500 degree plate and that's it, LOL! Oh yeah their deep fried green beans are to die for. There's something about cars and food that go hand in hand and this place is casual dress, perfect.

12 days till the trip and 15 days till I enter here and sit down and have a food orgy :dblthumb2:

Weather Bug says 50% of T-storms on Wed when I get down there and 30% on Thur. Fri-Sunday looks great

Looks like there's a change of plans too. My buddy coming in from back home will arrive late on Thursday, so my buddy Ted and I might hit the Devils Triangle on Thursday but gotta play it by ear because with bad weather that's NOT the road to attempt!
