Thinking Of Buying A Gal. Of Pinnicle Shampoo??am I Crazy

Just got a gallon of Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II. Love it. I think it was
11.95 a gallon. Good for a gallon of premium soap.
 
I will say that the Maxi Suds does not compare to the Pinnacle. All of
the Pinnacle products are top notch. But sometimes you have to look at
your budget. I think the Maxi Suds is much better than the Gold Class
though.

I was trying to remember what your user name on the forum was, and I happened to stumble across this thread. I was browsing the autogeek store yesterday thinking what soap I should buy, and I saw pinnacle shampoo and it reminded me of all your post (from 2 years prior when I visited the forum more often) about how good pinnacle smelled, so I decided to try it. I was going to try a 16oz bottle at first, but decided to go for a gallon too.

I'm still working on my gallon of DP extreme foam from 2 years ago, so this pinnacle should last me a while. :D

I was wondering if you have ever tried Wolfgang Auto Bath and if so what do you think of it. What part of NJ are you from? I to live in the garden haha.

i got a free sample of it once but threw it out because it smelled like crap...
 
Tried the pinnacle and liked it a lot, however now I use more of the poorboys SS&W and DG 901 after buying a foam gun
 
maybe Wolfgang changed its formula as far as the scent, because everyone I know don't like its "signature scent"...it was horrible...
 
I was actually considering buying a gallon of wolfgang too. I figured it can't be that bad since most wolfgang stuff I have tried has been great, but now I'm kind of glad I didn't buy it because I might of hated it because of the scent.

I just got my shipping confirmation from AG today, so now I have to wait another week for it to show up. 1 week/5 business day shipping from FL to CA is a killer sometimes :(

1 Gallon of Pinnacle bodywork shampoo
1 Gallon of ONR
1 dispensing pump for the pinnacle since I already have pro blend dispensers for my ONR

I kept my order simple this time. :D
 
I agree. I received a bottle of auto bath in my Wolfgang kit and it does smell like bubble gum. Aside from the smell how do you find it compared to Pinnicle's shampoo? I found it to be a very nice car wash but I don't have a basis of comparison as I am a newbie. After all of the suds settle the bottom line is not which car wash smells the best. It is,IMHO, which car wash cleans the best.... As I will be needing to order shampoo soon if there is a better shampoo than the Wolfgang auto bath I would like to give it a try. I welcome and appreciate any and all recommendations that might be made.

So my soap came on Monday, but I barely got the chance to try it today. The car hadn't been washed in 2 weeks, so it was a perfect candidate. I have to say after trying pinnacle soap I don't think I can ever use anything else again. The soaps cleaning power is very mild, so it doesn't disturb the lsp, but at the same time its super slick. All the dirt just glides right off while smelling great.
