Thanks for looking

Oh man, a vert...what year is that? Looks like late 70's but before the '79 platform change.

Yeah 76' was the last year for the full sized Caddy verts, after that you had to go through a custom shop, that one is awesome, should have the 425 c.i.d. (cubic inch displacement for you Gen Y and Z-ers)

I think that baby was rockin' a 500.

Agree, it should be a 500 CID. You see a ton of these in great low mileage shape since everyone saved them as the"last" gm convertible. That is until I think 83/84 when gm came back out with some factory convertibles. There was even a lawsuit by some eldorado owners against gm for loss of their investment.

Bada Bing! :)

Man my Pop would have loved that puppy. He was an Olds man most of his life, till the mid 70's then he went Caddy. I still have his 99 DeVille D'Elegance in the garage, 92K and looks like new.

Nice - I guess it is now considered a classic.

Yeah, a classic dreadnaught, land yacht, something like that. I didn't see what the HP was on the 500, but the 425 that replaced it the next year, had a whopping 180! I'm sure it had enough torque to tow a boat...um...because it needed that kind of torque to get it moving.

Top job on the Caddy mate . Must have took hours to do ! As large as they are .

The 429 was the motor to have in the caddys but that was old school back in the mid 70's.

That is no doubt a sweet Caddy that I'd love to cruise. Ever seen Poorboy's Caddy?
