Hey guys, I've been really busy but I was able to do a nice wax today. I have already corrected this car the best I could with the time I have been given. Sadly, there is much more I need to do.

I used Meg's gold class liquid wax with the supplied foam pad.

Let it sit on the Jeep for about 20 minutes. Then wiped clean.

This is my personal vehicle and it gets a lot of abuse, I am a storm chaser and I do a lot of photography so it takes me where I need to go.

its got about 156k miles and shows it at times. haha

What do ya think??

Anything I can improve on?

















It does have a lot of orange peel but hey, its a jeep. haha

Looks great for a 13 year old car with 156k miles! Most people dont have the pride of ownership you do, as most cars of that age are ready for the junk yard.
 
Thats kinda my quest, I'm going to be lifting it and stuff in a few years. I want a CLEAN lifted xj. But nothing to crazy.

Looks good. I know what your talking about with the black. I did our 04 Tahoe Z71 with 140k miles on it a few months ago and you can't beat a shiny black vehicle.
 
Yea, but when it gets dirty.... it gets DIRTY lol only problem.
 
Yeah but after being corrected, it is much easier to clean again I have noticed. I wash it once a week, and it really don't show the dirty all the much for a black vehicle. Here is our kiddo hauler.

It looks very nice. Below is my old XJ that I had lifted (3 inch lift, 31s). It was also waxed with Gold Class. Hold onto that as long as you can. I miss mine quite often. Sadly, it was totaled in 2005.

Wow that thing was clean! I plan on keeping it as long as I can! I'm fighting electrical issue s right now :(
