Dry Wash n Guard sample-free
Crap Towels- ~$3

Rubbing dirt in your car - Priceless xD

yeah, tried some dri wash stuff as a vendor outside of the NEX in hawaii was selling some. bought some of the metal polish because i had no clue really as to what was good or not then, the metal polish actually had pumice in it....... didn't work that great, left a lot of marks in whatever you were polishing....

Ouch look at the swirl marks! What can you do? Just educate the guys who don't know any better...

On a side note it makes me cringe when someone needs to insult another person just cause he doesn't know any better. Referring to the insulting comment on Youtube.

Yea, if i ever post a vid on youtube ill hide the comment section. People are very immature.

That section of the car still looked dirty to me b/c it was swirled up so bad. I lol'd when he said "Well, its lifting dirt." Obviously, if you rub anything on a surface that's dirty its going to show up on whatever you rubbed it with.

Looks like some sort of waterless wash.
Can't tell whether the swirls were there before or after... but yeah that car got some swirls there. Also the vid didn't mention what type of towel was used to apply the product... but does looks like a terry towel.

If it's the same vendors that was there a few years ago, I tried the same vendor's upholstery products on the car I owned at the time. It removed the color from the fabric. Good thing I only did a test spot in an out of the way location.

Back on topic. I'm not sure how anyone would think this is a good idea. I know there are good waterless car wash products out there, but I'm not even sure I'm brave enough to try those. The thought of trying to wash a car without swirls and scratches without plenty of suds and water makes me really nervous.

I like how he said he had his nice "clean" towels, yet sat them on the dirty finish before he started. Someone link that guy here. ;)

 I was going to say, this guy has a lot to learn...just like me starting out. I wonder if he knows that he's on a detailing site.

I notice that a lot of products sell, even if they hurt the finish. For most people clean is good enough; they don't realize that cleaning in that method is actually scratching the paint and doing far more damage.

Most people that I talk to about paint damage from things like this don't seem too concerned. All they care about is the car being clean and shiny, as evidenced by all of the black cars I see rolling out of the automatic car wash.

I'd bet big money that product did not cause those swirls, they were there all along. Removing the dirt simply exposed them. It is black after all, seen any perfect ones lately? Secondly the car is a bit too dirty for a waterless wash product but he used an ample amount, and third he should also should have sprayed both sides of the towel in addition to the painted surface.
I see no reason to crap on the product after watching this or make fun of that fella.

Only reason I posted this is because I own the same type of car, and I know for a fact that the paint is super soft, so watching this just is a big no no lol

Funny thing is there's a guy on the 4th gen eclipse forums that promotes this product like crazy lol he says its a must to use circular motions....
