So I am going to be working on my neighbors 99 BMW M3 this weekend. I will be doing a paint correction on it followed by a coating of CQUK on the wheels and paint. I will also be doing a premium interior on it along with an under hood detail. So this car is pretty much getting the works! I am excited to getting detailing for the year again, and what ever project to kick off the season that a full detail!

Look for some better before pictures in the next day or two.

Definitely looks like it could use some polishing! Looking forward to the pics.

He has new wheels from Bavarian Autosport for the car also that haven't been put on that I am going to be coating also. They black with a polished lip 18" wheels that will look pretty sweet when the car is all cleaned up. Here are the wheels that are going on the car. They are 18x8.5 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear I believe. I have been excited to do this car as I think it is going to turn out pretty sweet when its done.

Looking forward to the write-up! :xyxthumbs: :buffing:

I also own a 99 M3 :) - Be prepared its one of the worst cars to polish out next to maybe an older 911. All of the trim has to be taped off, and there's a LOT of it... the front bumper has to mostly be done by hand as well. I spent a lot of time on mine.

Looks like it'll be a big joy on the detail job you'll be doing.

Good luck and have a great time detailing

Sorry for the late update. I didn't work on the car much over the weekend really, as I can have the car as long as I need to finish it so I have been doing a bit here and there. So here are a few before picture of the car.

So I did a bit of cleaning on the inside and here is a 50/50 shot of just a quick scrub with Megs APC+ on the steering wheel

I will be finishing the interior on Friday probably and will post more pics of the interior than.

Sunday night applied CQUK to the new wheels the owner purchased for the car that we will be installing once I finish detailing it. Here are a few pics of them after I applied the coating.

Today I tested out my new Rupes 15 and mini. I absolutely love these, correction was quick and effortless. I am doing a dual-stage correction on this and started out with M105/D300 on Megs MF cutting pads on the 15. The correction with just this combo was outstanding, however I followed that up with M205. The depth and gloss on the paint are outstanding now, and should look even better when I apply the CQUK coating.

Some good 50/50 shots

Look for more updates in a few days

Looks like good progress. It should look really good when it's all done and by the looks of the weather you might be able to take some sun shots coming up.

Yeah I am hoping to have it finished up on Friday to be able to get some pics than. Have you started doing anything for the year yet Dalton? I am booked up through May right now, and will probably have May booked up pretty soon here also.

Just realized that I double posted the same picture in my post. This was supposed to be the other reflection shot.

Great to hear! I haven't done anything major this year yet. I have a one-step polish lined up and a handful of thorough wash and seal jobs coming up. I would love to get into it a lot more but find myself quite busy between school and other part-time jobs. We'll have to meet up one of these nice spring days, hopefully.

Looking great! Love those E36 M3's, so tempted to pick one up as a toy.

I forgot to update this. Here are a few picture of the car after applying the CQuartz UK coating. I am going to be getting more pictures on friday of the car with the new wheels on it, as he had to have them balanced before installing them on the car.
