I dont see why autogeek does not use the organic packing peanuts that shrink up and disappear when wet. I think there made out of corn starch. MUCH more eco friendly !!! probably more money as well to buy. . come on AG, step it up... I havent got a delivery with peanuts in quite a few years besides your box's !

Just a BS remark...Back in the days (daze?), popcorn was used a LOT when family members would send 'care packages' to military members. Two for the price of one. Got the good stuff for yourself and popcorn for the hanger-ons.
Just wanted to be sure the family did NOT use buttered popcorn...can you say RANCID?

I fill garbage bags with them, seal them well and toss them in the pond and water features over the winter. I cover the features with a tarp and the peanuts keep the water from causing ice damage. As ice forms they compress and relieve the pressure. Come spring I toss them into the recyclable bin and begin the collection all over again. I never have any ice damage.

I was SO EXCITED when I got home from work to see my AGO package sitting on the doorstep, that i completely forgot about the Peanut filler. I then ran inside and threw the box on my dining table and proceeded to destroy the box, underneath the ceiling fan which was on the highest possible setting... Need I say more? -____-
