Browsing the store I ran across the DG 105 for the first time.
Great reviews.

Right now I often use Wolfgang Glossy Paint Sealant.
What's the big difference?

Thinking about using the DG 105 and it's bonding agent in my shop.
Thanks,
Kevin

Cost for one thing, it's also very durable. 105, 501, and Aquawax were my go to's for many years.

Low cost, amazing durability, with 601 you can do multiple layers immediately after the preceeding one (no cure time), 105 is a decent chemical cleaner (501 is an amazing one), 105 doesn't stain trim, and it's been pretty good for me in glass.

Thanks guys.
Going to order it.
I'll try in on my black RAV4 first then let my customers know about my new addition to my product line.

I read where someone said to mix 1oz of the 601 to 4oz's of the 501 to be able to do it in one step.
Anyone ever here of this?

DG 105? It's a pretty good AIO.

501? I thought you were leaning towards DG 105.

It's the best sealant by far that I've used in terms of its ability to "shed" dirt.

Ordered.
Can't wait to try it.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I'm working on a brand new car. It was spotless a couple days ago. The owner washed it yesterday at the pay and spray and didn't dry it. There are water spots now that don't wipe off with a simple detail spray and microfiber cloth. With force, they will come off.

Do you think 105 will have the strength to remove the spots? Or do I need to go with something with an abrasive? I'd love to skip the abrasive if the 105 would knock this out.

Possibly. Be advised that the cleaners in 105 are not super aggressive.

One of my clients did the exact same thing, and I was only able to get it off with heavy cut and a microfiber.

We called his cousin who is a painter, and he advised us to rewash the car with the soap we were using (Ultimate Wash and Wax) with hot water. Not so hot couldn't use it, but hot.

Worked like a charm, and in way less time.

I would think so but #501 will if #105 doesn't cut it. #105 is heavy on sealant and light on cleaning ability, #501 is the reverse.

Dlc95, rtexasf, from your experience with duragloss products, how are 105 and 111 for dust attraction?

I've used both extensively and find they're on par with any other polymer sealant as far as dust attraction goes. They're both great on light colored paints. And durability is top notch.

111 not bad. I never felt it seemed to attract more dust than any other sealant.

I remember using Turtle Wax Ice Spray Detailer which attracted dust like crazy.

If you're looking for a product to help resist dust, look at Duragloss Fast Clean and Shine detail spray. It's a pretty thick compared to something like Meguiar's M34. I imagine the thickness helps resist marring from the dust on the paint. The slickness and gloss is incredible! Smells amazing too.

I haven't used 105 as of yet, so my only info comes from what I've read here, and what the people at DG tell me. As of now, just 101, 111, 501, 601, 652 Aquawax, and FC&S. All are outstanding, solid, quality products that consistently surpass expectation.

I have not used #111 but the others I mentioned are average for dust attraction and above average for durability. Ease of use is almost comical in its simplicity and it is outstanding on red.
