Thoughts on HD Towel Kleen?

I find this product to be an excellent value. I use it in an HE machine and find myself using far less than many say they use. Just did a batch of 8 qty. 16" X 16" towels and only about 1/2 oz. of product. It cleans as well as anything I've used and the price is very good. I have ended up pouring this in a WolfGang dispenser for easy measuring.

I'm the only person with the fading issue? What am I doing wrong?

I have 4 gallons of the stuff, btw. Went nuts on the year end sale.

Are you using a top loader ? And pouring it directly on the towels ?

If so u would wet the towels before you drop the liquid on top of them.

That should help , assuming that is what your doing.

Thanks for the suggestion. I presoak all my towels - Towel Kleen/APC/CG Wash & Gloss, all 1oz with 3 gallons of water - prior to washing. The machines I use are the industrial front loader Speed Queen.

I wash all my towels on HOT setting. Dry (usually 42 min, 30 towels on average) on low.

I'd try avoiding the pre-soak. I'd also partially start filling up the washer with water and then add in your Towel Kleen so it mixes with the water. Then, toss in the towels.

I'd also periodically check and see when the towels are dry just enough and take them out rather then possibly over-drying them.

Hey David!

It was nice meeting you at detail fest this weekend, my cousin loves HD speed, and he had a blast doing his car today, thanks for taking care of him

I have also found that normal wash routine works well with just 1/2-oz. Ran various test's with Towel Kleen. Found that using the vinegar in the final rinse will tell you if you used too much. Limited or no suds left means you have found the right mix. Adjust as required. Different areas water have different soap needs. Same for presoak.

Does anyone have an opinion based on experience as how this compares to Micro-Restore? I think MR is fine, but I've heard so many good things about HD Towel Kleen.

I was using MR before TK. TK I feel leaves the towels slightly "fluffier". Cleaning ability is about the same.
