If you can't access it on FB, try YouTube:

I did it with IMovie on my Macbook Pro. Took probably 15hrs or so over a few days. I'm on vacation and wanted to accomplish some admin stuff for the detailing business.

Compared to my 1st video, the clips are much shorter overall. I didn't want to give too many specifics in the video. Just enough to get folks interested.

Initially, I had the song "Bring Me To Life" which is ad supported on YouTube. However, a couple people I previewed it to told me it was depressing and or distracting. So, I switched it to royalty free music I think is decent.

I'll probably put out a new video every 5 or 6 details. I'll start taking actual video clips during details to use in my highlight promo vids.

So, let me know what you'd do differently so I can incorporate collective ideas into my next effort. :xyxthumbs:

Next, I'll finalize a price menu. :dblthumb2::eek::rolleyes:

In retrospect, I should have added something about my competitive pricing.

Pretty cool,I noticed that you operate in va but have a 407 Orlando area code may want to change that otherwise very nice.

I like it! I like the quick changing sequences to pack in a lot of info to our ADHD ridden society! Seriously, lots of good, quick sequences gives the potential customer a lot of info. Best of luck with it :dblthumb2:

Ah, yeah. I've had the number for about 10yrs. I'd rather not change my personal number and I don't have enough business to get another line.

I may get a vanity number/service from Grasshopper soon.

Good catch!

Yep! Like a music video. People can always go back and watch again or pause something.

The initial RESULTS pics are a bit longer since it's starting out and I want to make sure people can focus on what they are seeing. The initial pics are 2-2.5 seconds. Then the exterior pics drop to 1.5secs. Interior pics are just 1.3secs. Paint Correction pics are 2.0secs.

I had an inquiry on a 2015 Denali detail in the first hour of posting. :)

Dean, I think it was well done sir. It would prompt me to give you a call, and that's all you need. Good luck and take care.

Peace,

Darrin

Very nice - I really like how the before and afters are of the same exact location on the car.

I'm inspired I got to start taking more before and after and put me a similar video together, nice!

I try very hard to remember the angles I took the before shots at.

In reflection shots, I try to mimic the before reflection the best I can in the after reflection. "Regular" people get confused as it is with reflection shots. They definitely need a point of reference (at a minimum) to get what they are seeing.

In some cases I have actually moved all my supplies while working so I can move the vehicle to get the best shots in the sun.

I have some bizarre fetish for me before/after pics. I look forward to viewing all my pics (camera and cell phone) more than getting paid! They are affirmation of...everything.

Like the video a lot, I commend you on the video editing skills. I can't even sit through a GoPro edit session.

Have you thought about a google voice number? That's what I use as I to didn't want to drop my personal number.

All the best!:dblthumb2:

You had me at the FIRST CAR! OMG that Acura was nasty and it looked beautiful after!!!!

I like it. The music is not insulting like some.

Me too. My wife keeps mentioning there are more pictures of the finish/paint of the cars than our children.
