I was looking at this product becuase i wanted a cheaper clay lubricant...and considering all its possible functions it seems well worth it!

Has anyone used this products as wash/clay lube/ QD, any could give me some feedback?

Thanks in advance :)

I use it for a clay lube, and it works great. Normally I use it to wash inbetween polishing and applying wax since the car gets covered in dust.

It's got a lot of uses that I haven't tried. I got it to add a capfull to the wash bucket. It adds more lube and supposed to cut down on water spotting (maybe a little).

it works well at all 4 items, but it truly smells. I highly suggest washing it down quickly with water (dilute) or consider the DP version.

sweet thanks for the quick replies... how bad is the smell?

smell def isnt the greatest....but i use it as a QD almost daily

1.5oz of ONR with 32oz of distilled water = truly awesome shine in between washes

Definatly happy with it....i have some DP 4n1 that i wanna try as soon as my onr is out in this bottle...

this sunday ill be doing a full compound and polish and the maintaining with an ONR QD...im thinking of making a DP4n1 QD and comparing the durability of the 2

Umm so you need to use distilled or just what you prefer?

You don't NEED to use distilled, but I also use distilled when making QD and clay lube.

It does help with water spotting a little. I tried it mixed with DP extreme foam inside my foam gun and it helped when drying the car.

i only use dp 4in1 and it is some amazing stuff...highly suggest it

I use it as a clay lube all of the time and it works great. A couple of years ago when I was deciding on a rinseless wash the smell of ONR was a big turn off. In the end I felt when used on a regular basis it worked the best and the price per gallon beat out the other 2 competitors since it used 1/2 oz per gallon instead of 1 oz. I use it with tap water but our water is not hard. I sometimes filter through a softener. I haven't noticed a difference between the filter and unfiltered water though.
