thoughts on this?

You saw it on TV. I saw it at Lowes. Go figure. I wonder if they recommend DAT or SMAT for this dual mechanism reverse spinning rotary polisher?
 
It confuses me but it's different so I give them that. Curious to see what people have to say after testing it. Only real issue I see is pads.
 
Looks very interesting actually.

While the throw on my Rupes is different for me. It does leave flawless finishes.

I have to still try what Kevin Brown suggested to me about tilting the Rupes for smaller areas.

(This is just another thought going through my head)

While you could tilt this dual polisher and since it looks like it doesn't have a throw. You could polish paint and not worry about scuffing the paint in tight areas.

At the same time, If you do tilt to get into tighter areas. You do run the risk of creating holograms. Since it doesn't seem to have a throw. So it would have to be used completely flat to work properly.

Unless you could swap it with a 3" backing plate And it still have the same features.

Does it have a clutch?
 
i dont know... To me it just seems like another as seen on tv product. Cool concept and convincing results but in the end mass produced in china for $1 a unit with no quality control department. If it was that great of an idea i think rupes or flex would have came up with it by now. Just my $0.02
 
As you know every company advertise their product to convince the people to use it and familiar them with their product to have some packages on these products.I like this but not having use it.So anyone have another idea on it.
 
I don't see any pads like that for sale. Now I would need to buy 2 pads, inner and outer. You would have to go through the polisher company for those - I would guess they cost more and who knows the quality of the pads.
