Tiburon... my bud's girly car

Well my buddy has been beggin me for a while to "help" him detail his car... his little Tiburon, which i consider to be a girl car, since most of the ones i see are driven by girls. So I like to give him a hard time about it!!!! Little car was fun to do, not big so only took couple of hrs.

Exterior Only:
Wash D2G special soap via GG bucket and Ulti-mitt
PB bug squash and Pinnacle Safe Sponge front end and mirrors
Tail pipes hit with White Lightening, rinsed, dried... Polished with RL aluminum polish and mf
Purple Power APC on wheels and tires, wheels cleaned wheel brush
Wheels wiped down RL Qd

Polish Menz Fp. 75/25 Menz. glaze
UDM, Orange Lo pro.. Sp.6
buff 2 blue indigo
Wipe down RL Qd
LSP XMT 180
UDM, Lo pro Meg. waffle pad. Sp. 1.5
Tires dressed 75/25, RL tire dressing: DP tire gel
Glass cleaned SIG via WW

not to Hijack the thread. The tiburon needs proper tweaks to go from girly to macho!
Lowering, borla exhaust, forged wheels, Super Charger, Big Brakes.
People trip over themselves doing double takes where ever I go!

Has your car ever been mistaken for a Ferrari?

No disrespect, but if anyone mistakes a Tiburon for a Ferrari, they either know NOTHING about cars or really need an eye exam. Bottom line, if you are happy with it, that's all that matters!

That's about 95% of the general public! hehe
Tiburons are like Mustangs (which I have own many pre 70's). The newer Mustang can be made great but stock it will never turn heads.

YoMike, what makes a car a chick car has less to do with what is under the hood and aftermarket mods and more to do with the design or look of the car. Some cars like the Tiburon, Solara, SLK and of course the VW Bettle are just chick cars. But its cool man don't take it too personal, I'm not putting down the car its just personal opinion and a little bit of busting people's chops thats all.
