Time for a new Water hose! Advise!

How heavy is the Craftsman? I need a 75 or 100 ft hose, and I don't want to break my back trying to drag a hose across my lawn

I have the Craftsman Black 50 footer and it works great....but
I use it as a back-up to the dreaded X Hose...

Why???

Its so easy to take it in and out..maybe 20 seconds to get going

The black hose ,my God , takes a while to unwind and wind back up..yes, I'm lazy :)

So this year Bed and Bath had the new version of the X-Hose which is 3 times stronger..yeah right...bust on maybe the 8 th use( the old one didn't last past 5)

So now I have 2 x-hoses ...one as a back-up

But now the wife is getting tired of returning it every 2 months...:nomore:

P.S.- I have an electric PW and I see no difference between Sears or the X-Hose
Just make sure ALL the air is out of the hose

for those with the Craftsman hose
does it have a lot of memory?
do you think it will roll up and fit inside a 5 gallon bucket?
Trying to save space (mobile detailing out of a corvette) :) but my hose is a nightmare to roll up and it has memory so bad it is ridiculous

I have a local rubber company that makes hoses. I just go in and request a length. If I have any problems they fix it. Try looking local.

Flexzilla without a doubt. I loved my craftsman all rubber, with exception to the weight... decided to try a flexzilla, and cannot imagine using another hose now

Sent from my Nexus 5 using AG Online

I bought a rubber Craftsman from Sears and really like it. It was around $23 with lifetime warranty.

a 50 footer...forgetaboutit

buy 2 flex hoses for that tight space...
why 2???
sooner or later it will bust open....
need a spare.

I bought mine at Bed and Bath...so a return is just down the street for me...:)

I haven't tried the flexzilla but I bought a Goodyear all rubber hose months ago and I love it. Doesn't kink. It is heavy though.

Thats the problem....such a pain to let out and roll up for storage...

I loved the expandable hoses....in 10 seconds you have water spraying the car..

But ...It lasted no more than 5-10 washes....

I had 2 of them on hand all the time from Bed and Bath , when one broke ...down the block to get another on exchange ( no questions asked)

But unfortunately , they are out of them now
