I just used my new wash mitt this morning. The first new mf chenille wash mitt in over two years I think. I didn't realize how bad of shape my other 3 were in until I received this one the other day. (Thanks Nick!) Anyway, glad that hasn't been touching my Sky! Heres the Old and New side by side.

LOL dog, glad you got a new one! I usually switch mine out every season.

What situations do you use the MF wash mitt? The new MF mitt shown above are really nice. I love that I hang them to dry with the loop built into mitt.

What about the Carpro one?

Cee Dog - As always, I appreciate your thoughts!

When your car is super dirty nothing is better than a microfiber wash mitt.

I got a new mitt too. And as soon as I got it I threw my old mitt in the wheel bin.

Thank you! :)

My Sky only gets the CarPro Wash Mitt.

Any other cars that have been corrected sealed, and stay garaged usually get the CarPro Wash mitt as well if they get to me for a wash soon enough.

I use my MF wash mitt for the daily drivers or for neglected vehicles. If they are nasty they definitely get the mf chenille and if there is severe nastiness it's used in concert with a Bug & Tar Sponge and/or my Optimum Foam wash mitt or Schmitt or Blue Cube.

What do you use for ONR? I'm assuming you use that for Rinseless and UWWP for Waterless?

For ONR as a rinsless wash I use plush MF towels. Not the shaggy ones or the short terry weave but the plush.

For UWWP I use plush as well.

I use both sides of my plush towels even though they have a bit shorter weave on the back.

The more plush side is used first and the less plush last.

WOW great pictures buddy, the new camera seems to be working VERY well!! Thanks for sharing! As you know I share your wash practice philosophies (both posts #5 and 7)...:props:

Which is the old and new? Not trying to be a wise ass as they both look good.

Thanks buddy!! I have to admit though the camera is my old one still (taped together with painters tape :)). The new one will be here tommorrow but it is getting wrapped for Christmas :hungry: As tempted as I will be to use it and as badly as my videos need me to use it I will try to stay strong! :(

ROFL Ron!! I do keep it in good shape for its age though!

Striking difference, wonderfully captured pictures.

I would be interested seeing a side by side while they are both wet.

Please excuse me, now I am off to replace my old mitts ... :bolt:

Good point about them being wet Bill! They definitely look much more similar when they are.

Corey, I have both mitts you show and the new ones are so much nicer. The blue one I have has only been used twice so it is still pretty new. Too bad it tore at the cuff after the second use.

I really like the new mitts.

Well I think your old one wasn't that bad.... you do got the new model which has a 40% thicker finger than the old one...

I need to try one of these mitts sometimes. I am still stuck on my Lowes Grout sponges. I switched over from lambswool mitts a while ago.

You won't regret... they are really great.... If I were you, I would just jump on their BOGO.

I used a razor to remove the cuffs at the seam in my old ones. Will probably d the same to this one.

Corey's post got me wondering how my mitts were doing

The seem to be doing allright, but those grey ones look amazing. Going to cart :coolgleam:

I didn't think of that. I'll be doing that soon. What about the liner? I'm thinking of removing it too

Yep! To remove the cuff and liner I cut the stitches out with a razor.

I used to wash my mf mitts in the machine and when the elastic in the cuff started drying out and cracking and the liner started wearing I thought it best to get rid of them before hard pieces could end up getting in my wash bucket, etc.
