Hey guy hows it going. I own a 2002 Premium White Pearl Acura Rsx Type S. I'm the 2nd owner and have taken very good care of it since I bought it. Ive been using Meguiars clay bar kit, Meguiars cleaner wax, and then Meguiars Gold Glass Carnuba wax, and a cheap Wal-Mart brand buffer. It's worked for awhile but im now ready to take it to the next level. Ive been researching once in awhile and ive decided to buy the Pinnacle Porter Cable 7424XP Show Car Kit. Problem is Ive heard from here say that Carnuba waxes can dule out pearl which I do not want. Any advice on another kit/product or answer to my question is apreciated.

Heres some pics of the car minus my lip kit which is being repainted....

That kit looks like a good starting point! I have never used the swirl remover or finishing polish, but I'm sure they are good products! The liquid souveran does indeed look awesome on white! I never heard of carnuba dulling pearl coats tho!

I think a sealant would look better than a 'nuba on that pearl white, IMO. I'd go with this kit over the Pinnacle kit: Wolfgang Porter Cable 7424 Swirl-Free Kit. Or get the PC 7424 XP, Menzerna SIP and Nano polishes, Menzerna Power Lock for your sealant, and Lake Country 5.5 inch pads (flat or CCS - strictly personal preference).

What makes you say sealant over nuba?

:iagree:Wax will not dull the paint, unless the paint is dirty from oxidation, contamination etc..... My game plan on your car would be to wash, clay, rewash, Menzerna Power Finish, Menzerna 85rd, IPA wipedown, then to seal your work, either Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant ,Black Fire Wet Diamond or Menzerna Powerlock....then if you want to top that off, go with either Liquid Souveran or Pinnacle Sig Series II....both are excellent......good luck.

I'm with Wendell on this. I've used that process on my wife's white Jag and it looks beautiful!

I've got 2 silver cars and a white car. I went with Wolfgang trio The Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover Kit is the total solution to swirled, hazy paint. If you like the slick, glossy look of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint and topped with Fuzion Wolfgang Fzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax, carnauba car wax, show car wax, polymer wax, paste wax, Wolfgang German car care

This last weekend I redid one with Meg 205 then Power lock and topped it off with Fuzion. Went on and off great and looked even better.
