The 20th Century is truly a period of great achievement and discoveries. Even to try and list them all, let alone just think about it all is mind boggling.
My grandfather's first car had wooden spokes on the wheels. Granted, it wasn't brand new when he got it, but STILL....boggles the mind to think that in general, cars have only been around for about 100 years.
I will agree that most of the 20th century was amazing and filled with new technological marvels, but it seems those days are over. Is it me or does that 40 year old Lamborghini still look more futuristic and awesome than almost all the cars produced today.
We need to start dreaming big again. I want my flying car and to vacation on the moon.....not a another stupid iPhone. Got that Siri.
