APC will remove those spots. I run into them from time to time

While the car is wet, (AFTER WASHING) spray APC on the area your working on and gently use a fingernail to remove. Keep the area rinsed

:autowash:

Hey man, where do you live at? This looks like something called Artillery Fungus. Look here There’s a fungus among us. | Car Pool Detail LLC

Can you feel an actual bump? Ive read getting a cloth damp with alcohol and then letting it set on the spot can help make it possible to remove. I think the time to allow it to set was like 15 minutes but cant swear to it.

hey guys i dont think its a fungus...i have been googling and some people say its embedded brake dust and rail dust, and that i would need iron x...any thoughts? and also how would i test if it was the fungus?

Oh crap,

I few of those black spots I was looking at was dirt on my screen :)

^^^ ummm lol...i wish the pictures would come out better they stand out more then that, and you can feel some and some you cant.it looks noting like that fungus it looks more like specs of dirt stuck in the clear..

where are they located on the car? is it the lower half..could it just be a bunch of small specs of road tar stuck to the car.

IronX will take care of your problem. You are correct, it is rail and brake dust.

ok i just hope so dont wana buy\use a product i dont need.i was thinking about using some tar remover too just incase it's tar ughh this stuff is annoying.:nomore:

I would think clay would get most of them out if they were brake/rail dust. Try Iron-X. Not sure wht to do with fungus. My brother had some on his house. I will try to get ahold of him ask what he did.

If you put your finger near the spec when taking the picture it helps. I learned that here from a very wise man.

ok i took some more pics these ones came out really good this is what it really looks like..the only reason in the first pic the orange spots look like bumps or fungus is becasue i had my camera in the wrong mode they dont look like that and you can barley feel them.

looks like iron to me

get the iron x.

trust me you need it for a white car

wash
dry
spray iron x and agitate with a sponge
let it dwell
agitate with damp sponge again
rinse well or repeat the agitation/dwell as long as required. As long as you're not in the sun, iron x is completely safe on your paint
