There was a story here a few years back about a guy that stood on the Interstate exit ramp with a "Will Work 4 Food Sign" He boasted himself that he was pulling down $500 per day and that he had a very nice home/car
:bash:
I occasionally will give $ to a homeless person, but generally offer to go get them food and bring it back. More times then not they accept and seem genuinely grateful. I don't mind helping someone who is down on their luck or may even be addicted to drugs/alcohol. A few dollars to fill someones stomach or perhaps show them that someone does care about them is worth a few bucks for me personally
It's these Tip Jars that make me loose my mind!
I remember that Flash,
He averaged 80-100k per year.I also remember the 2 working the corner of Covington Pike and Raleigh Lagrange road. One would stand half the day with the sign and bucket then here comes the other on the 10speed and they would swap.
We have to remember not to let these deceptive people cause our hearts to become hardened toward those really in need.
