Tire Cleaner suggestions

i have used OPC and ARO recently to clean tires. ARO works better for removing the brown residue from tires. It also works well for light duty rim cleaning. OPC is a better cleaner for overall duty such as interiors and so forth i have yet to try these 2 product on engine bay cleaning.

Yea, maybe I should although I got a feeling AG will be pissy about doing a review that they don't have.

Car wash soap and scrub!

Just checked a video of that brown royal wheel cleaner though. Pretty impressive for no agitation.

Most of your all purposes cleaners work and for tougher jobs try Meguiar's Super Degreaser.

Amazing Roll-Off
has a decent following and I use it as well. I'm not convinced it works twice as good as the Meguiar's products at twice the price. Once I've exhausted my supply of Amazing Roll-Off I'm switching back to Meguiar's strictly for cost, not a lack of performance.

I've been using Bleech white for a long time, and a tire scrub brush. It's not that high priced, it's otc, and it works. However, for maintaining after I get the white letters clean, I just started using Totally Awesome from the dollar store and scrub brush, it seems to work for me, and it's like $3 a gallon. I dilute it with distilled water 1:1. I want to try ARO, and the Megs though.

Yea! A review would be fun and let me get to know the product more!
I'd still seek permission from the admins and moderators. I'm not sure how likely it is that AG picks up "Flash" detailing products. They may, but to me; this seems doubtful.:dblthumb2:

For whatever reason is doesnt work well at all on tires for me. I use megs APC+ on tires and wheel wells.

Interesting. It may have to do with tire chemistry.

I sometimes try APC+ first but usually have to use OPC to get it done unless I am in a hurry. ARO did not do well for me either.

Sorry to hi-jack the tread, but I was wondering if Amazing Roll-Off was safe for aluminum wheels? I've used tire cleaners in the past that left marks on my billet aluminum wheels.

Lately I've been using Griot's Rubber cleaner, which works well and doesn't screw-up my wheels.

I don't think they would. Flash only sells their products from their site. I think they should let me, I know they are in a business, but this is a detailing forum and not a give more money to AG forum.

Bleche-white available at most mass retailers. It's cheap and good.

This is what I use on nasty tires, you know the ones with ghetto shine that has been layered and never scrubbed. My personal cars get Griot's Garage Rubber Cleaner because they are well maintained. OPC is excellent as well.

Interesting for sure, as ARO works pretty well for me on tires as well at APC+. OPC seems worse on my Nissan then my GMC tires.:dunno:

When I used OPC this weekend on an engine detail the grease on the hood latch literally melted off, worked amazingly well. This was diluted 3:1.
