Can anyone recommend a tire cleaner. I use Amazing Roll Off now but would like to try something different. Have Meguires APC can I use that?
 
You will find a lot of opinions--so take all the suggestions in, and check different prods out. Thats the fun of it. But for me, I have switched over to the Griots tire cleaner. Gets the brown off, and I like the way it works on the tire with no harshness. Some of the OTC prods can be pretty strong. Having said that, a lot depends upon the condition of the tire, how often it has been cleaned and how well you are about your actual scrubbing. I just found that the GG worked well--and have stuck with it these last 4 years or so. And oh, we have between us and my sister who is a regular over here, 4 cars; and I do NOT like extra work, on anything like tires. :props:
 
Mothers Foaming Wheel and Tire cleaner.......its available otc and here at AG....try it one time I think you'll like it.
 
I just use APC+. never had a reason to try anything else. Although Eagle One A2Z works great on tires as well as wheels.
 
The new BF APC is rather impressive at 3:1 for wheels and tires. OPC Works great also. The Megs APC isn't bad either. You can always find Bleche White locally also.

I was using Griots rubber and wheel cleaners and I think they are both awesome products but now that I have run out I want something a bit more economical. I used megs APC at 7:1 (foamed a bit more than 10:1) in a foaming garden sprayer and it did a great job. My wheels get cleaned weekly so I guess they are never that dirty to begin with.

I really want to try the GG heavy duty cleaner and Megs WB some time.
 
I use the BF wheel and tire cleaner….works good for me when used with the Daytona speedbrush. Just make sure you presoak or spray down the tires first before you clean it with the BF wheel and tire cleaner.
 
I use Amazing Roll Off and its the best thing I've used. Meguiar's Degrease does a pretty good job as well as OPC. I've heard really good things about Royal Brown but haven't gotten to try it yet
