So iv decided to invest in some pinnacle, blackfire, & Wolfgang with that being said I need your opinons on each dressing..how many of you likes them and why..my question is once the customers vehicle is washed dryed and etc I want to complete the package with some nice dressing help me choose the right one..

I really like one you didn't mention; CarPro Perl. It offers solid protection slight shine and no sling. Just requires that the tires are nice and clean before you apply.

I have always liked UTTG. It is at the same price point as the one's you mentioned, however I feel it provides the best longevity out of all the products you mentioned.

But if you are detailing for a living, I would look at getting a cheaper option as well. There is no need to apply $30 dressing on a, idk, 04' Toyota Corolla who only purchased a W&W. Something like HD Premium Exterior Dressing. It's sub $10 works well and holds up for a decent amount of time and it looks good on both trim and tire.

Thanks to both of your response I'm keeping my options open at this point as far as clients vehicles goes iv delt with daily drivers using on hand products but if I come across a BMW ,Mercedes, land rover range rover or a Porsche than I'm open to step up my game and really do some serious detail work..I live 5 miles from a wealthy gated community so I'm always stocking up with tons of car care items.

Another vote for PERL!

What's great about it compared to other dressings is it doesn't need to be applied multiple times to get a darker, shinier finish.

With most dressings, you apply once for matte or satin. Then apply again for glossy.

With PERL, you only ever need to apply it once, but rather *dilution* will change the finish. If you apply undiluted, it will be glossy as all heck. If you apply 1:1 or 1:2 it will be satin. If you apply 1:3 it will be matte.

It's the best tire dressing imo.

With that being said I have a good amount in my cart on AG but will add the opti bond tire gel as well maybe it will be my 2nd favorite dressing..how long does it hold up? Weeks months days

The optiond last about a week or two, or first rain. It does keep tires clean. I have been switching between that and meguiars hyper dressing. The meg's last longer in dry conditions and can be diluted at more ratios for a more fine tuned look. I find myself reaching for the Hyper more often. Unless I have the air compressor out, and then I shoot the tires with opti straight with a paint detail gun. IMHO this gives the best look compared to using an applicator.

I'm gonna come in here with a sleeper, Mother's Reflections Tire Care. Inexpensive, beautiful satin finish, no sling, makes the bed in the morning.

Peace,

Darrin

I love Opti-Bond, I also know people who swear by Meguiar Hyperdressing (undiluted).

I would also add Turtle wax tire coating to your options. Charge a bit more if they want to do it. A bottle is good for maybe 5 or 6 clients and will cost you about 20$. It takes longer to apply so what I do is charge 20$ more for that option. It covers my time and the extra cost of the product.

There are plenty of good products out there.

Thanks like I said I'm keeping my options open to the items you all mentioned as far as armor all goes I have the tire foam but after my previous manager advised me that it may crack or ruin tires so I stopped using it.
However I do have some OTC stuff like turtle wax megs and black magic but I'm saving those for when my stock is running low just enough to last me til I reorder from AG.

I was kidding about Armor All. No one here uses that product as far as I know.

Turtle Wax Coating is amazing, you will get a few months out of each application. It's supposed to last a year but that's too optimistic. In reality it's more 3-6 months. But compared to the 1-3 weeks of dressing's durability, it's quite awesome!

Optimum Tire Gel, Meg's Hyper Dressing and PERL have been my go to dressings.

I haven't used Black Magic in a couple years, but I've cursed that stuff in my mind. It slung so horribly...worse than anything I've seen. I used the spray-on TW tire foam/shine a couple years back and it was surprisingly decent. I didn't expect anything out of it in the first place though.

I did hear Meg's Endurance Gel wasn't too-too bad.
