I always hate getting my hands covered in dirty goop when applying tire dressings...and latex gloves leave powdery residue that annoys me as well....i have tried every foam/sponge applicator on the planet....they are all basically the same...just shaped or textured differently..but all have the same end result...shiney tires...dirty fingers......i think i have solved my problem...

The Packaging...

The Product...loaded full of tire dressing

The two competitors....

Product dispensing....the white dots are the tire dressing coming out

The Result.....dont mind the rim or wheel well...did those afterward

and all this and not so much as a dirty smudge on a fingernail....the dressing went on super even...and there was no sponge dragging or "grabbing"..in fact the edge painter easily glided across the surface of my tires and still got all the nooks and crannies of the tire lettering without leaving pools of dressing......it was easy to control how much product i used...the pad looks to be a neoprene base with a bunch of synthetic brush like hairs coming from it.....the contour of the tires was not a problem at all...my low profile tires and my roomies huge suv tires posed no challenge ...my front tires are 225/45/18 and face of the quick painter was small enough to do them when turned the "short way"...yet turn the applicator the "long way" and it was big enough to quickly cover my roomies huge suv tires on his avalanche...easy to hold as well...very ergonomic....product is loaded into the edge painter by removing the twist off "brush head" and sticking the exposed tip of it into tire dressing and pulling the handle like a syringe.......all i know is i have finally found the perfect tire dressing applicator....

geez, i wish the geek carried this awesomre tire stuff i use, Tirerific. Its an actualy acrylic coating for the tire (like a clearcoat). dry to the touch, apply every two months. treat it like paint.

too bad...

nice invention though, man!

no problem :D

Interesting, the stuff all of us come up with! LOL!!! Thanks for taking the time and posting.

Hey, now I like that! How much did you pay for it? I personally hate dressing tires as well as I never fail to get it between my fingernails and it's a pain up the arse to get it off.

Thats awesome! I never thought of using one of those.

To battle the dirty goop problem, I've been wearing medical gloves.

Thanks for the review.

:iagree: Nice find. I've been using medical glove approach to apply my tire dressing, then just toss them in the trash. My hands never get dirty :D I only apply with my right hand so a box of 100 has lasted me about 3 months, not bad for $7.99

I believe they thought about carrying it, I've tried it and it works semi-well on my tires. One thing about it, it is very rubber dependant.

Tell us where to find this stuff mate.

looks like a great idea for normal and suv tires, I dont see where it will work properly with lower profile tires however.
