Tire Dressing .. Too many products need help

Hi - I am looking for a new tire dressing. I recently used Chemical Brothers Gel Black Forever. I do not like this product at all for tires because it slings A LOT! I couldn't get out of my driveway without having it splatter all over my car. I did like the shine it gives.

What I am looking for is a dressing which will not sling at all (dry to the touch), and has a high level of shine, yes I am looking for what most people dislike in a tire dressing, I want something with a lot of shine.. as much as possible. Also it should not damage my tires and cause browning.

I did a lot of searching but found a lot of products, many are great but don't really have the shine I want, and others do shine but also sling. So if anyone has a product they would recommend please let me know.

Just tied perl myself. Tires look good--not too shiny but clean looking. I like it especially bc of its multiple uses
 
I recently just had this same question. I have tried several different kinds and settled with Meguiar's Hyper Dressing and I have had nothing but great success with it.
 
CG silk shine is a satin finish that is dry to touch after a little.
 
CG VRP Dressing, 1-2 layers or CG New Car High Shine. Duragloss #281 Wet Look Tire Shine dries to the touch but not instantly.
 
I was trying to get the vererans day discount which was ending soon so I had to make a quick decision. I ended up getting the hyper dressing. I heard it has good shine I just hope it doesn't sling.

No sling here. I spray the tire then use a brush let sit for about 10-15 mins and your good to go. You can even wipe with a towel if need be.
 
I just got my meguiar's hyper dressing in earlier today, works pretty decent and for a price you can't beat really. This bottle will last me a good while.
 
For a tire dressing that's easy to apply, dilutes 3 to 4 parts water to 1 part product, and lasts I'd give CarPro PERL a try..Another product I've had great results with is BlackFire Total Eclipse Tire Gel ....:props:
 
I've tried several but found that 303 is by far the best (at least for my customers). I look for a dressing that has a high UV protection with no silicone.

When tires dry-rot or crack prematurely (under warranty), the first thing the manufacture asks is, "what type of tire dressing are you using and does it have silicone in it?"

Many people believe that silicone doesn't affect or hurt the tires, or that the silicone has to have a water base to it to be any good... blah, blah, blah.

I put my customer's concerns and safety up front and don't fool around with all these products on the market today. 303 has everything you need to make the tires look good, but not with the phony shiny look. It has probably the highest UV rating in a product, and it goes a long way. You can basically use it on a variety of surfaces.

In my experience, if water comes anywhere near 303 protectant, it washes it away. I can't see it lasting long at all on tires. That's why I only use it for interiors (which I love)
 
Meg's hyper dressing. I use it 4:1 and give my truck tires a nice matte look. Best part? Is doesn't attract dust.

Two of my favorites are Poorboy's Bold n Bright and Chemical Guys VRP. My method is to apply the first coat thin, let sit for 10-15 mins, wipe with a MF towel. I like my tires with a nice satin finish so I apply a second coat after about 15 mins. The more coats you put on, the shinier they get.
 
I too would like a bit more shine and durability. Optimum Tire Shine seems to work about the best of everything I've tried. The Tuf Shine stuff intrigues me, and I keep seeing commercials for the Dupli-Color Tire Coating. Wonder if it's just clear laquer with flex agents....
