Tire dressing

So I used the new tire applicator with Mothers tire dressing and it came out great and all but as i'm removing the excess dressing i'm wondering why the towel is black. I washed the towel beforehand and dried it and the towel was clean, now that I applied dressing it's black. is the black the actual rubber being removed? or is there a chemical reaction with the dressing and the rubber that it turnes black?

Oils and such from the rubber You will never wipe anything on a tire and it stay clean, this is why we use old towels for tires.

Its only a bad thing if you used your good towels

so.. tires wont degrade faster?

No, most tire products made now a days will help protect the rubber.
